I thought Daryl would have found me by now. I would go back to Alexandria but I'm lost. Why didn't I run the other way? I guess I'll have to sleep out here tonight. I see this as a good thing. I've been wanting to leave Alexandria for a bit so I guess this is good. Oh so many good memories. Note sarcasm. I climbed up a tree and fell asleep.

~The next morning~

I walked down the trail to see if I can find a lake or something. I started to smell the water. I smiled to myself and continued walking with a pep in my step. I was about to get there when I heard voices.

Daryl? Carl? Maggie? Sasha?

I walked closer. There was a bush right there so I hid behind it. I saw a boy around 16 or 15 and a little girl who was around 5 or 6. They looked kind of familiar. I tried to look closer then I tripped.

"Shit" I said as I scrapped my knee.

The boy pointed his gun at me and the girl hid behind his leg.

"Don't shoot I'm semi-harmless" I said getting up and dusting myself off.

"Evelyn?" The boy said.

I looked up and saw the person I though it was.

"Matt!?" I yelled.

He hugged me. Matt was my only real friend at the orphanage. His sister Elizabeth and Sammy were best friends.

"I thought you died in the orphanage" I said as we pulled apart. 

"I thought you did too" he said.

"Nope I'm a tough one" I said flexing.

He laughed then his face dropped. He looks confused and curious.

"Where's Sammy?" He asked pointing out my missing brother.

I sighed and looked at my shoes.

"Oh I'm so sorry" he said giving me another hug.

"Sammy is dead?" His little sister spoke up.

I nodded and the little girl ran to hug me. I hugged her back.

"So do you have a group? I asked.

"No we used to live at Terminus then they went cannibal and we left" He explained.

"Oh" I said.

"Do you?" He asked picking up his sister.

"Ya but stuff happened and I got lost" I said scratching the back of my neck.

"Oh" he said.

"You guys can come with" I said.

"Really?" He asked.

"Yea" I said with a smile.

I ran out the door to the wall. There not going to go look for Evelyn without me. I saw my dad and Daryl.

"Are we gonna go find Evelyn?" I asked once i got there.

"Me and your dad are not you" Daryl said.

"What no!" I said angrily.

"Carl you have to stay" Dad said.

Hey I'm already pissed at you don't push it.

I said in my head which made me smile a little.

"Please dad I need to find her" I said giving him pleading eyes.

"Okay fine" he said.

"Yes" I said taking a gun from him.
