We walked through the woods. No sign of her anywhere. I'm so scared. I love her so much she can't just leave me.

Elizabeth and I were back at the tree I slept at. Matt went to hunt. Elizabeth was drawing in the dirt. I heard loud groans and heavy foot steps. Biters.

"Liz come here" I said pulling her behind the tree with me.

I held her close to me as the biters walked around. She began to cry.

"Shh shhh it's okay" I whispered.

She just kept crying more and more. Then I remembered something I used to do to calm Sammy down.

"I remember tears streaming down your face
When I said, "I'll never let you go"
When all those shadows almost killed your light
I remember you said, "Don't leave me here alone"
But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight"
I began to sing quietly.

She closed her eyes tightly and hugged me.

"Just close your eyes
The sun is going down
You'll be alright
No one can hurt you now
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe and sound"
I continued.

She began to calm down. We heard a gun shot. Several.

"Stay here" I said.

"No please don't leave me" she said her eyes watering up.

She reminds me so much of Sammy. I sat back down and hugged her.

Matt popped out from the bush. Elizabeth jumped up and ran to her big brother.

"Your okay" she said hugging him.

He hugged her back tightly. They released and Matt smiled at me.

"Thank you for keeping her safe" he said.

"No problem" I said.

"Evelyn ! Evelyn!" I heard a familiar voice yell.

Matt looked at me confused. I walked out from behind the trees to the trail.

"Evelyn!" I heard again.

I turned and saw Carl.

"CARL!" I yelled running and hugging him.

He hugged me back tightly.

"I was so scared I thought you got hurt" he said tearing up.

"I love you" I said.

"I love you too" he said.

We kissed for awhile. I heard someone clear there throat.

"Okay lovebirds we gotta go" Daryl said.

Carl grabbed my hand and laced our fingers together. He smiled at me and I smiled back.

"Daryl can they come with us?" I asked pointing at Matt and Elizabeth.

They were in the same place Sammy and I were in when they found us. I gave him a pleasing look.

"Okay" he said turning around and walking forward.

"Thank you so much" Matt said in relief.

Daryl turned and nodded at him and continued.

"Who is he?" Carl whispered to me.

"Old friend" I said.

We got back to the front gates of Alexandria. They opened making a loud noise. Once I walked in I was attacked in a hug. Taina.

"EVELYN YOUR OKAY" Taina yelled.

"Yes I am" I said hugging her back.

She let go and looked at Matt. He was staring at her in awe. He looked like he was in a trance so did she. They were staring at each other. Carl softly elbowed me.

"Introduce them" he whispered.

I nodded and let go of his hand. He looked at me and gave me a pouty face. I rolled my eyes and grabbed his hand again. He smiled again making me giggle. I turned to Matt and Taina who were still staring at each other.

"Taina this is Matt, Matt this is Taina" I said.

"H-hi" Matt said.

"Hey" taina said back.

"Okay we're gonna go you guys talk" Carl said with a smirk.

"Ok" Matt said smiling at Taina

"Come on babe we got things to do" Carl said putting his arm around me.

I kissed his cheek. We walked to his house. Carl took me to the room he was staying. He fell into his bed.

"I'm exhausted" he said kicking his shoes off.

I took my shoes off and placed them at the end of his bed.

"Cuddle with me" he said opening up his arms.

I laid next to him and he wrapped his arms around me.

"I love you babygirl" he said with a yawn.

"I love you more" I said cuddling closer to him.

"Not possible" he said then fell asleep.
