Things have been crazy lately. Crazy as in Enid and Evelyn becoming friends. Yes, they apologized to each other and hugged it out. I mean I'm glad there friends it's just weird.

Evelyn and I were walking down the street. I pushed Judith in her stroller.

"Carl Evelyn" A familiar voice said.

I turned around and saw Gabriel. Evelyn rolled her eyes then crossed her arms over her chest.

"What" I said.

"I guess you heard about what I told Deanna" Gabriel said.

"Yea no shit" Evelyn said.

"It had nothing to do with you guys or your group I see that now" he said.

Evelyn and I looked at each other then back at him.

"I want to learn" he said.

"Come back here around 3 we'll start with the machete" I said.

Evelyn and I walked back to my house. Evelyn has actually been staying here the past couple weeks.

We sat in my room with Judith. When we heard gunshots.

"What the hell" Evelyn said.

She jumped up and looked out the window. She dropped to the ground.

"What is it?" I asked worriedly

"You know those W we've been seeing around?" She asked.

"Yeah" I said.

"Well there called the Wolves there a gang and there here" she said.

I walked to my closet and grabbed out machine guns. I headed her one. She put Judith back in the crib then we ran downstairs.

"There coming in from everywhere" I said to Carol.

"You guys stay in here and protect Judith" Carol ordered.

"What no-ugh Fine" Evelyn said.

Carol left. There was a crash coming from the kitchen. Evelyn and I nodded at each other then got our guns ready. We slowly went around corners then finally got to the kitchen door. It opened and we both aimed our guns at the opening door.

"Woah" The person said.

"Enid thank god" Evelyn said pulling her into a hug.

"I came to say goodbye" Enid said.

"Come on your helping us protect Judith" I said

"Okay" she said.

We all sat against each other.

"This place is to big to protect" Enid said

"There gonna die.......all
Of them" I said

"Enid don't say goodbye to us" Evelyn said

"Okay.....I won't" she said.

We sat in silence for at least 25 minutes until we saw movement outside.

"Is that Ron?" Enid asked.

"Yeah" Evelyn said.

We all ran out front. I shot the guy in the leg who was chasing Ron. The guy fell to the ground. I pointed my gun to his head.

"Please don't shoot please" he pleaded.

I kept pointing the gun. He grabbed my leg and tried pointing the gun at me. A gunshot was fired from behind me causing the guy to let go of me. Evelyn walked over.

"Don't ever touch him" she said then shooting him in the head again.

"Ron you can come with us, We'll protect you" I said.

He looked at Enid then at me.

"No" he yelled the walked away

"Come on" Enid yelled.

Evelyn and i ran back into the house. Before I knew it I was embraced in a hug.

"Your such an idiot" Evelyn said into my chest.

"Thanks for saving me" I said

"Your welcome" Evelyn said giving me a small smile.

She pulled away then I gave her quick kiss. After I gave Enid a hug. We all went back to how we were sitting before.

*hour later*

Everything seemed to calm down. I stood in the kitchen and looked at the dead body from earlier. I heard the front door open and close.

"Enid?" I said.

I saw a note on the ground that read

'Just survive somehow'

I sighed then a alarm went off. Evelyn came down the stairs.

"Where's Enid?" She asked walking into the kitchen.

"I don't know" I said taking out a casserole.

"She left?" Evelyn asked.

"I think so she left this" I said showing her the note

"Just survive somehow?" She read out loud. She looked at me questioning.

"JSS" she said again but with more understanding.

I looked at her confused.
