Two days had passed since our capture the flag game and all I've done was mope around up until yesterday when we found a note attatched to one of Aria's puppets. All it said was 'On the 31st sunrise, we will end this.'  Aria has given us a final month to prepare for battle and Vivian is in full panic mode, she and I gathered some people I brought over from the different realms and placed them in certain spots based on their skills, strengths and weaknesses. I knew the time was drawing near but for some reason I had no motivation to actually do anything about it. The next day I didn't even get out of bed. Caleb gave up when all I would do is pull the covers back over my head when hed pull them off.

I finally got some odd motivation to get up when I'd realized something in my time to think. I threw on the first thing I laid my eyes on in my closet and set out to find Katie. I ran down the hall to her room and barged in without knocking, which was a normal thing for me to do anyways, so she's used to it. But to my surprise, she wasnt there. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Stephanie walking by the door and I pulled her to the side. "Have you seen Katie?" I said panting.

"She left with Amber out with their horses. They tried inviting you but you wouldn't answer, so they left." She said.

"How long ago?" I said mentally hitting myself

"About ten minutes ago, why, is there something wrong?" she asked concerned.

"Yeah, kind of" I say taking off into a full sprint to the stables. I hopped on Pandora and took to the sky after them.

~Calebs POV~

It's around 11am and Aimee still hasn;t gotten out of bed. She's been completely out of it the past few days. She worked with my mom yesterday but even my mom said she wasn't herself or completely focused. Aimee said she wanted Noah off the front lines and I know that's not what she really wants, she would want Noah right by her side. I can't blame her though, I'm glad they get along. I chose Noah to look after Aimee not only because he's my best friend but because he could pretty much win a battle with anyone or anything.  He's had more fighting experience than I have, and if anything were to happen to me I'd want him to take my place.

I knocked on her door, "Aimee?" no answer. I'm almost worried about her well-being. We have the whole month of December to prepare for battle and if we don't make our quota, were as good as dead. I walk into her room to find Aimee completely under the covers in bed. Sitting on the edge of the bed I lightly shake her shoulder. "Aimee?" I say once more trying to wake her up. Rolling over she hits me on the arm and sinks deeper in the sheets. "So that's how you want to play huh?" I say taking a firm hold of the covers and pull them off, eposing her curled up in a ball in the middle of her bed.

Effortlessly using her magic she places the covers back over her, I pull them back off and we go back and fourth with this.  "Come on Aimee, you can't stay in bed all day. Eventually you'll have to get up and eat." I point out a little frustrated now.

"I can have Stephanie bring me food" I hear her argue from under the covers.

"No Aimee, she's not going to be your slave." I sigh

"Well that's her job." She protests. I never thought I'd hear that come out of her mouth. She was the one who got Stephanie out of this whole 'slave' situation in the first place. Now I'm really concerned. I've noticed though, ever since she got here, the people have changed. Everyone who's around her is always in a good mood and are starting to really enjoy themselves. Even my mom has changed. Maybe it's best that she takes it slow just this once, but tomorrow we need to get down to some serious business. "Fine." I say and leave. If Aimee get's the day off, so could we. I walk into the square and see Noah talking to Casey.
