We sparred back and fourth, our swords clashing. I was beginning to tire out, Aria saw this as an opening and threw be back out onto her balcony, her sword making a cut on my cheek. My wings unfurled as I watched her step closer to me I retreated to the sky sending light magic her way in attempts to blind her. "Give up" I hear her say as I saw her sword cut through the clouds into view and I dodged swiftly catching myself.
"In your dreams" I say kicking her mid air and knocking her away from me again. At this point we're both pretty beat up, covered in our own blood.
"You will never beat me Aimee." She says. "You're not even using your full powers potential" she spits.
"Shut up" I say.
"Because if you do, you know that you'll kill everyone"
"Shut up"
"Noah, Casey, Amber"
"Shut up"
"I already killed that weak girl, what was her name? Oh, Stephanie."
"Shut up!"
"Caleb" she says looking downward and I follow her gaze to see Caleb with Noah standing by his side, looking up at us.
"Don't you dare touch him" I growl.
"Uh oh, have I hit a soft spot?" A smirk tugs on the corner of her mouth as she swings her sword up from the corner of my eye, catching me off guard and cutting deep into my left wing. It was at this point where my dark side took over completely. My pain and power finally taking control, driven by revenge. My sword turned a blood red and pulsated. Esmareé's power guided my swords every move. The purple smoke encircled my sword as it began to drip with poison like her skin once did when she lent me her power.

I was completely blind to what happened next, it was like my vision clouded over and all the pain I'd felt before was completely numb. When I could finally see again, Aria and I were falling from the sky, my arm was up in the air, my sword flying above us. Aria was disarmed and she was missing a wing, an eye for an eye. She looked paralyzed for a moment and just like that, I caught my sword as it fell back into my hands. Lightning and blue fire trapped within the purple smoke appeared  as I thrusted my sword downwards, driving it straight through her heart. A golden shockwave pulsed through us and everything went white.

Caleb POV:
I could feel Aimee's aura disappear and I knew she had left Arel. I continues fighting my way through The sea of Aria's army. Most of her army consisted of her puppets, the rest were other people and creatures she'd gathered from other realms. Our forces are stronger and there were definitely a lot more of us. It seemed like an hour had passed before I felt Aimee's aura back in the area once more. Noah was spit out from out of nowhere and thrown into me. He was quick to get up and look around. Hannah, Amber and a boy that seemed familiar were soon spit out of thin air too. The boy then morphs into Atlas, in his regular Pegasus form, makes sense, I think.
"Damnit!" Noah yells pinching one of Aria's soldiers and knocking them 20 feet back. "She kicked us out somewhere else!" He shouted and that's when I realized, something must have happened there because of all people Aimee would have never cast Noah out.
"What happened?" I ask him.
"She killed Logan." He said through gritted teeth "and she killed Stephanie" enraged I took out my sword and drove it into the ground channeling Zeus and sending a powerful electrifying shockwave through the ground and killing every last soldier of Aria's that was left standing.

"Dude calm down!" I felt Devon's firm hand in my shoulder. That's when we heard an explosion coming from the top of the tower. A flash of light and then I saw Aimee take to the sky, followed by Aria. They were going at it then stopped for a brief moment. That's when all hell broke loose, Aria must have said something to set Aimee off, because I saw a side of her I'd never seen before. Her moves were quicker and she was more attentive to Aria's movements. I'd blinked and I heard a cry of agony as a black wing fell from the sky; it was Aria's.

I turned my attention back to Aimee, she was above Aria now and disarmed, her sword flying above her for a matter of four seconds before it fell back into her hands and she drove her sword through Aria's heart. A green light encircled them as it fanned out and came roaring towards us, "It's Esmareé's magic!" Noah shouted and pandora and all of our myths were quick to form a barrier around us and our army, shielding is from the death wave. A blue strike of lightning struck right through Aimee and Aria, just then a bright white light had us blinded for a few seconds before we could see again and the sky was now at a sunset with swirls of light like the aurora borealis but with colors of yellows and oranges. The only figure free falling through the sky now was Aimee.

Devon was quick to spring into action, jumping on the back of Atlas they flew through the atmosphere at record speed and caught her before she hit the ground. When I got to her she was covered in her own blood, her body was emitting a golden light that matched the sky, slowly her body began healing all her cuts and bruises. "Guys look" Hannah pointed out, not only was she healing herself, all our injuries were healing themselves too. Just when the sky went back to normal, her light disappeared and the healing process stopped. And so did her heart.

I held her in my arms as I felt her body go limp, Zeus covers us with his wings. 'Shock her' he says. His glowing white eyes emit small sparks of lightning that reassure me. I close my eyes with my hand over her heart and simultaneously we both use our magic to shock her, once, twice and then I feel her heart beat again, but she doesn't wake up.

A week had passed and she still hasn't woken up, that week turned into another, and soon turned into a month and Aimee still didn't wake up.
