The Golden Angel [COMPLETED]

The next week it was just Caleb and I wondering the castle, he'd show me where everything was and the proper dress. We werent allowed to venture outside of the castle walls because there was some evil lurking out there, we were not permitted to go out until the clear. Tonight we were celebrating for some reason, I guess it was because I finally learned their ways, but I guess some of it was in my blood since I was born here, just raised somewhere else with some random family who really didn't care about me in the first place. Caleb's mother finally started to warm up to me, to stephanie too. She wasn't all that thrilled that I had invited her to the dinner but she warmed up to her quick. They actually spoke more to eachother than i thought they would. For the first time in what seemed like forever I had a really fun time and by about midnight came around we were still having fun and it kind of made me sad. 

        I was probably having more fun than I was with Amber and Katie and....I looked at Caleb and the thought of Logan flowed through my mind. I just kept replaying the sceen where he came to the beach house and broke up with me as I was thrown into oblivion. Caleb and I were growing closer, I wasn't afraid of him, he would disown me because of my wings as he was the same. But for some reason I didn't want to fall back in love with someone, so I fought back my feelings. It was at this point Caleb met my gaze he took a few steps closer to me and smiled. "What you thinking about?" he asked. I felt my eyes tear up. "Aimee whats wrong?" he said. I couldnt take it anymore, I just backed up and walked away. "Aimee?" he said following behind me. I walked faster and started to run, he cought my arm. "Aim, what's wrong?" He said pulling me to look I him. "I'm just tired" I tried to tell him. "you and I both know thats not it. You were just hyped up and dancing with nearly everone a minute ago." he pointed out. 

        I said nothing, I just hugged him and cried. "I hate this" I said. "I've never had this much fun with Amber and Katie or..." I stopped myself. "I feel this isn't right. I feel like this is just some stupid dream I can never wake up from. It's too surreal." I told him. "I know, and I'm sorry. I wish I could get your friends back." We stayed in our embrace until I stopped crying and he walked me back to my room. The next morning we got the clear to go out. Caleb thought it would be a good idea to take a ride and clear our heads. Yeah sure, it sounded like a good idea. He took Aspen and I took Rimfaxe. We had Pandora come just so she could have some time out of her stall and just in case something came up. 

        We had dismounted in side the tree line and I decided to play a little game to get my mind off things. It wasn't my best idea. It was like a game of hide and seek, I kept weaving around the trees hiding myself out of sight. As we went deeper into the woods it got darker, I guess I went too far into the darkness because when I was completely covered in darkness, I couldn't move. I had no control over my body, it was like I was being posessed by something. 

        I stood in the clear and waited for Caleb to come into sight. I felt as if someone else was taking over my body. When he came out of the shadows he smiled at me. "There you are, come on, we shouldnt get too deep into the forest." he said. I cocked my head to the side, I felt my whole body heat up as I raged forwards and punched him, throwing him back into the trees. Clutching his chest from the pain he tried to stand. Pandora's voice was muffeled in my head. I screamed out, but my words never reached him. He took off into the sky, as did I. Following from a safe distence, coming up from behind and pushing him back down to the ground.

         The earth dented from his impact, he tried once more to get up holding his hand out in surrender. I screamed out once more hoping my voice would surface but it never did. I had him choked, pressed against a tree. I tried every shred of strength I had, fighting to take control again. I felt a tear slip away as I began to gain a little of control. I put my hand on my right arm that was choking Caleb and tried to pull it back, I managed to scream for Pandora. I wanted her to take Caleb away from here, far away. Just as I called for her the power taking control over me had taken over again.

Only a few seconds later, Pandora flew right between us and took Caleb, and forced me backwards. She kept flying higher and higher, just like she did when we raced when I had set her free. When I would go too high, the altitude would take my breath away and I'd be forced to collapse, and that was her intention. 'Thank you' I said as I felt myself slip away into the darkness.

Aimee had me chocked against a tree when I noticed her eyes were a darker shade and her touch was hot. She had to be controlled by something, probably the evil that was hiding about around the castle which prevented us from coming out here. I guess it sunk back into the darkness where it couldn't be found. I struggled to get her to snap out of it with the strength I had left from being thrown around. I thought coming out here would be a good idea but I guess I had just led her into some kind of trap. Suddenly, I stopped trying to get her to snap out of it when I noticed a tear roll down her cheek. She was struggling to break free from whatever it was that had hold of her. She needed to get out of here, she needed some kind of magic to force this evil out of her body. 

        She screamed for Pandora, and sure enough, she came, splitting us apart and taking me with her. She kept flying higher and higher. "What are you doing!?" I shouted at her but she didn't respond. I watched as Aimee followed us, the pressure almost made me pass out but faded as we went lower, I saw Aimee slip conciousness and fall back into the darkness in the trees. Pandora took me back to the castle and dropped me off in the square. My mother found me and took me into the infermary to get checked out, I told her what happened and tried to order some people to go an look for her but they insisted on waiting it out, instead they sent two men to go back and find our horses.

        Two days later, when I got the clear from the healers, I ran to the stables to find Pandora to go out and look for Aimee, but Pandora had something else in mind. She took me to the field of myths, we landed in a cave in the mountains. We met up whith an old Black and red pegasus who claimed he could use his magic to open up a portal to any realm. Although his power was getting low, he needed the help of Pandora to do it and someone close enough to her present to stand by and also go through the gateway. I had to have the stong desire to find them and bring them here, and I really wanted Aimee to be happy. So with that, the portal into oblivion opened, and showed two girls standing, watching the ocean appeared.

                                                A day later, a group of men brought in Aimee.
