You squinted when someone yelled. Your eyes glanced around the gym and all the people and equipments around. Until you sweat drop when you spot a small build rolled forward like a literal thunder.

His forearms made contact with the ball very smoothly even though he's in a very weird position. The ball was received like it landed on his forearms naturally. He stood up straight. His hands on his hips and it screams like he's proud at what he just did.

You actually just got to the school gym to hand a notebook, which belongs to the captain of the club. Daichi probably left it clumsily on his desk, so you thought why not just give it back to him.

"Who is he?" You asked to the captain who is still standing beside you when you gave him back his belonging.

"Just Nishinoya," Daichi chuckled. "Being all pumped up with a single receive, as always. Sorry for that." His hands rubbed the back of his neck while smiling at you in apology.

You shook your head no. Forever admiring his modesty, and told him it's totally fine, like it's not even his fault. "A first year?" You asked to the captain while still chuckling quietly. You didn't know there's a freaking cutie kouhai in the volleyball club. Daichi should've informed you. Wait.. why should he?

"Second, actually." Daichi answered, his firm voice interrupting your nonsense thoughts.

You were kind of surprised at the statement Daichi stated, as you take a glimpse again at the rolling-thunder libero. Seeing he's currently standing still on the back side of the court.

This so called Nishinoya has a cute small stature yet a fairly muscular build. You could see his muscular arms and legs, people should appreciate this lil creature oh mY GOD

His eyes are drop-dead gorgeous brown. His smile is priceless and is so dazzling to your eyes. He styled his hair and most of it are ruffled upwards. There's a tiny tuft of his hair that falls over his forehead appears to be bleached blond, making him looks weird yet sophisticated.

And... his boisterous nature and crazy shenanigans can attract unwanted attention quite easily, as he attracts your attention right now.

You quickly averted your eyes away. You were too enthralled by the energetic guy. Hurriedly, you nodded your head slightly at Daichi, telling him that you'd better go head back soon since it's getting late. He responded back smiling and thanked you again for his notebook.

You waved your hand lightly to excuse yourself.

Before you could take your first step, you felt like a hand reached for your wrist. You were being pulled behind his back firmly but you could feel the gentleness of his fingers around your wrist. Then he let go quickly as he gets on the receiving position and received a ball.

A loud noise sounded like boom was heard right in front of you. That was a sound of a solid ball being spiked to forearms. You didn't know a stray ball could make a sound that loud until this happened right in front of you.

It was the libero's hand which was grabbing your wrist.

You swore you just saw him in the middle of the court. But then he's already here like nearby the door where you stand.

"Whoa, as expected as Asahi-san's stray ball." He said cheerfully, and you could see he's grinning like the sunshine he is. He protected you from the stray ball. A kouhai protected yOU. A VERY KAWAII KOUHAI INDEED

"Uhm.. Thanks for that," You said, actually kind of confused of what to say. You were kind of dying inside. But you're sure enough that your mother teaches you manners to say thank you when needed. So you did.

His eyes went wide for some unknown reasons after you talked. Making you wonder if this energetic little sunshine is shy when it comes to talking to girls he hasn't meet before. Man it just made him even more adorable by 107%

"O─ oh! Sorry for my impolite behavior, s─ senpai!" He exclaimed, bowing in front of you and he shuts his eyes closed. You froze, don't know what to do in the situation. You quickly said 'no no it's okay's to make him calm down. But it seems like it didn't help one bit. So this Nishinoya guy indeed is shy when it comes to the girls he hasn't meet before.

Nishinoya's cheeks turned red as he keeps on thinking what the heck did he just do?!

Holding a very beautiful senpai's haND randoMLY?!?!

Like did he just save you from a stray ball?

Like in some kind of shOUJO MANGA?!

Millions of things ran through both you and Nishinoya's minds. Including random things like how beautiful you are, and how your sweet voice actually talked to him.

"Nishinoya, it's fine. I should've thank you, instead." You said calmly to assure him that he didn't do anything for him to worry about. His eyes rounded at you and he calmed down.

Unforeseen he became calm in seconds, after the things you said. "Sure, senpai! I want to be your guardian." He exclaimed, pride filling his voice as he points at himself with his thumb.

His thoughts about how he wanted to protect you from anything that could hurt you again were really sweet to you. You were in silence in seconds, "Thankyou, Nishinoya." You thanked him through your soft chuckles filling the air.

Never knew a kouhai could be this lovely.
