Taylor was sitting stiffly on her bar stool, trying to process what exactly was happening. She couldn't believe she almost kissed a stranger. That's not like her. But Karlie didn't feel like a stranger to her.

Within minutes of meeting her, she had gotten Taylor to let loose and even flirt a little. There was something warm and comforting about her. Taylor wasn't really much of a dancer, but she wanted to dance with Karlie. She wasn't one to let loose around someone she barely knew. She had spent years building up walls to protect herself and Karlie just effortlessly melted right through them. The thought was actually terrifying.

Karlie saw the blonde sitting on the stool. She was facing the bar with her back to her. Karlie wasn't sure how to approach the situation. This was new territory for her. She'd never been so open and flirty toward someone.

There was something about this girl with those mesmerizing blue eyes. It was the same thing she saw when she looked into Taylor's eyes before kissing her; that sparkle. There was that hope and sparkle of something that made Karlie feel like this could be something more.

Taylor seemed to be incredibly shy around Karlie, but she seemed as open to what was happening as Karlie was. Maybe it was naïve of her to think that; maybe that's just what she wanted to believe. Karlie took a deep breath before moving forward, stepping closer to the blonde.

"Hey." Karlie said softly, not wanting to startle the girl.

Taylor picked her head up and looked at Karlie, offering her a small smile. Karlie smiled back. They both just looked at each other, trying to gauge where the other was.

"Do you uh-, can I sit... with you?" Karlie stuttered, gesturing to the seat in front of her, breaking the awkward moment.

Taylor nodded her head, her smile growing a little brighter.

Karlie quietly sat on the stool, trying to think of something to say to break the weird tension. "So..."

Taylor giggled to herself at their awkwardness and Karlie's attempt to breach it. "So." She replied casually, lifting her gaze from the bar top to look into those green eyes she couldn't get enough of.

Karlie saw her blue eyes light up as she giggled. She felt her heart squeeze in her chest. She watched as Taylor's eyes met her own. Karlie couldn't help but get lost in the depths of Taylor's blue eyes.

They reminded her of the ocean on a sunny day. They looked so calm and serene on the surface, like the ocean without waves. It makes you wonder what it's like under the surface. Then the sun light shines and dances across the water, making it sparkle.

Karlie's favorite color had always been blue. Now she knew why. She smiled at the thoughts in her head as she turned to face the girl properly.

"You know, they say the eyes are the mirror to the soul. If that's true, you must have one beautiful soul."

Taylor looked at Karlie for a moment before bursting out in laughter. Karlie smiled at the sight, relieved she made the girl laugh. Taylor returned her gaze to Karlie and managed to compose herself.

She cleared her throat, looking Karlie dead in the eye. "Karlie Kloss. Did you just use another pick up line on me?" She asked playfully.

Karlie hid her smile as she looked up with a shrug. "Maybe. Would it be terribly cheesy if I did?" She asked, bringing her gaze to meet the blonde's.

"Yes, it would. But it's still kind of adorable nonetheless."

"Yes! Point for Kloss" Karlie pumped her fist and smiled back at the girl. Taylor simply shook her head and smiled. She found herself doing that a lot around Karlie.
