They slowly separated from their hug, each looking into the other's eyes, completely caught up in the happiness they felt in that moment. The things they were feeling for the other was absolutely terrifying.

People tend to fear the unknown; you fear what you can't explain. But that's what made it so exciting. That fear meant they felt like they had something to lose. They didn't want to lose the feeling they had when they were together, no matter how strange it was or how much it scared them.

Realizing they were both staring at each other again, Taylor let out a small cough, turning her head and blushing slightly. Karlie had a way of making her feel so at ease, but she was still so nervous around this girl. It was like she was too good to be true.

Karlie's cheeks flushed as well, her shyness on full display for the girl with the blue eyes. She offered the girl a small smile, hoping to put both of their minds at ease.

Taylor returned the smile, a small laugh escaping her as she realized how many times tonight they've been caught staring at each other.

"So uh," Karlie nervously scratched the back of her neck, trying to shake off her nervousness. "Did you want to keep playing? I mean, I don't want to keep you from your friends or anything. We can totally go back."

Smiling at the girl's nervousness, Taylor only took a split second to make a decision. Stay here and spend more time with the girl she couldn't get enough of, or go back to her friends that she had sort of forgotten about.

What felt like a long pause to Karlie, was really only a split second decision for Taylor. She knew she hadn't spent much time with her friends, as most of the night she was by herself or with Karlie. She wasn't trying to avoid them really.

When she was with Karlie, it felt like nothing else existed. Like they were off in their own world. Whatever she was feeling when she was with Karlie was something she had never felt before. Taylor wasn't willing to let that go.

Feeling a little brave, Taylor glanced at the table, seeing the cue ball laying about a foot away from a solid blue ball on the table. Taylor slowly walked over to the edge of the table. She bent down, lining it up, pulled back on her cue, and sunk the shot; it was an easy tap in.

Taylor stood up with a smirk; proud of herself for making the shot on her own. Karlie's eyes lit up, a mix of shock and awe on her face that Taylor had picked it up so quickly. Finding her voice, Karlie spoke. "Am I being hustled?" She questioned with a playful stare into those blue eyes.

Narrowing her eyes at the taller girl, Taylor continued to look for her next shot. Leaning down, she pulled back on her cue, sinking another solid, and pushing some of Karlie's striped balls into random parts of the table.

She slowly stood up, walking closer to the taller girl who was more than impressed by Taylor. "Well, what can I say; I'm a fast learner." She replied with a coy smile, making Karlie's heart race. Taylor leaned in close to the taller girl, her breath tickling Karlie's ear as she spoke. "And you're a really good teacher." She whispered into her ear, sending chills down Karlie's spine.

Karlie's face turned beat red, unable to hide the blush in her face from what Taylor had said and how close they were when she spoke in her ear. Taylor observed the girl for a moment, enjoying the fact she could make Karlie blush so much. She winked at the girl, smirking as she turned around to continue their game.

Sinking a few more shots, Karlie still hadn't gotten a turn since the game started. Glancing at the table, Taylor no longer had any easy shots to make. Karlie had 4 striped balls still on the table. Taylor only had two solids left on the table, and then the 8 ball. Realizing the 8 ball was the easiest shot to make, Taylor leaned down and pulled back on her stick.
