Ch 2

(Theo James plays Aiden)

After that moment I ran back into the house. I went Into my room and headed for the closet. I opened it and sittng there was Aiden. "He's gone. You can come out. I really didn't think you would of stayed hidden." I said taking a seat on my bed. He walked over and sat beside me. I didn't realize that he was shirt less. "When we were outside did you have a shirt?' 'No. I saw you when I was in the kitchen. And thought you could of used the company." He said. Bailey barked and Aiden picked her up. "Good night Katie." Aiden said. Before he left he leaned over and kissed my cheek. "Night Aiden. "
Later that night
I kept tossing and turning. "No! No!! You can't leave me! Cass!.please!! Don't take her!!!" I kept screaming for helps. "Katie! Wake up! Come on! " I heard a voice. I bolted awake shoving who ever it was. " Katie stop hitting me. It's me Aiden..." he wrapped his arms around me. Giving up i finally cried. He held me while I did. I saw everyone in the door. "It's all my fault...." I said looking at Bailey. Aiden tightened his arm around me. "Sh..." he said rubbing my arm. I noticed everyone left the door. Aiden let me go and started to walk out. I grabbed his arm. "Please stay..." I said like i was scared. He nodded his head and got in my bed. He pulled me close and I closed my eyes.
Next morning
I woke up and remember what happened. I curled into him not wanting to be alone. Bailey came bouncing in the room and jumped up and curled into Aiden on his chest. She licked his face. The face he made I almost laughed at. He still slept even with her liking his face. Finally after 15 minuets I got up and showered. I put on jeans and one of my vneck shirts along with my favorite pair of combat boots. I walked over to Aiden room taking a hoodie from his closet that was hung up. I walked out and through it on the chair. I walked back to my bathroom when i heard him starting to wake up. I walked out and saw it was still there. " morning. Can I wear this?' 'Yeah on one condition. ' 'What's that?' 'You kiss me." I smiled at him and kissed his cheek. "Not quite what I meant.' 'That's all your gonna get until I trust you. " I said putting it on. "Sounds fair enough. " With that he walked out to get ready for the day.

Today was Cass's birthday. I sighed looking at my phone. I really miss her. I felt arms around my waist pulling me back. I looked up and saw Kyle. "It's going to be ok. We will get her back.' 'It's not just that. Her dad is here now. How am I ever gonna trust him." He just smirked. "The truth. And let him be with her. He hasn't seen here for three years. He doesn't even know about her.' 'I guess your right." I stood up off the steps and walked inside. Aiden walked out and tossed me an apple. I caught it and looked at him. "What's this for?" I said looking between him and the apple. "To eat." He said in a duh tone. I rolled my eyes taking a bite out of it.

I was walking up to Cass room when I felt someone grab my arm. " What? " I said the moment I reached the door. "Who is Cass?" He asked. I closed my eyes keeping tears from coming. I cant tell him. Not yet anyway. "I can't tell you." I said ripping my hand away from him. I grabbed my bag and keys heading for the office. What office? Your find out soon. I kept driving until I reached the tall building. I keyed in my code and the bar opened.

Driving in I found a close spot and parked. Grabbed my bag, phone and badge and walked in. I walked pass the desk and scanned it and kept walking. I got into the elevator and pushed the 4th floor button. The only sound you could was my boots hitting the floor. I found the number 217 and scanned my pass again. Unlocking the door I saw her. My daughter Cass. For right now she's staying at a daycare/foster home type of thing. I know that sounds confusing so let me explain. These people took Cassadee a few months ago to keep her safe. She is the safest when with me or my brother. So it's normal a daycare but she doesn't leave until the BOSS says so.

They are keeping her safe and I get to see her when ever I want to. I just cant take her out of the room.. fianlly I walked over and picked her up. She giggled knowing it's me. "Mama!" She said in her small voice. "I'm here baby girl!" I said kissing her cheek. She's four today. We spent the whole day together and I gave her presents from everyone. A little later my brother even showed up to see her. I wasn't especting see Aiden with him. " What is he doing here?" I said and Cass hid her face in my chest. " He wanted to come. He has the right you know.' 'Not yet he doesnt.' 'He heard the stories of Cass. It's just a matter of time until he figures it out. " Kyle said.
