Ch 14

I stood up and gently pushed Cass behind me. I felt her grip my jeans hiding. "Ryan..." I said to my dad. "What? No 'hi dad' thought you missed me." He said. I could never miss him. "Never." I said back to him. He just smirked and walked out of the room. Cass started crying. "Baby what did they do? You can tell me." I told her sitting down on the bed that was in the room. "He just smacked me or scared me. There was always this girl who stayed in the room with me...." She said hiding in my arms. "Oh..." Was all I said. I moved so I was against the head bored and she was sleep on my lap. "There has to be away to get her out...." I thought to myself.

I looked over at the window and thought maybe I can't get her out that way. I slid out from under Cass and walked over to the window looking at it. I took the rock I threw through the window and knocked out more glass made a bigger opening. I leaned out and saw a group running towards the window. I jumped back as I saw it was Ryan's men.

I went back to the bed and pulled Cass back to me and fell asleep with her in my arms. I have no clue what time it was when my phone buzzed forgetting i had it with me. I turned the light down low and opened the message.
        Aiden- I'm coming. Your not doing this alone
        Me- ok. Hurry....
With that I placed it back in my pocket. There was a blanket on the bed I pulled it up and Cass moved closer to me. "Goodnight baby girl." I kissed her head and fell asleep.

The next morning I heard a girls voice come in. "Ryan said your his daughter." I looked up and saw her. She was about my age. "Yeah.... Who are you?" I asked sitting up. Cass was still asleep. "Nat." Was all she said. "Katie. You know Cass." I said motioning to her sleeping body. "I was trying to find a way to get her back to her mom." She said sitting down. "Thanks. What are you doing here? Why do you work for him." I asked her. "I was taken hostage. It's been 3 weeks now. I saw her and instantly got protective of her." Nat said motioned to Cass.

"Momma....." Cass said waking up. "I'm here baby." I said as she looked for me. "He's gonna come up and stay just so you know. He does this." With that Nat went to the other side of the room. "I see your awake." Ryan said walking in. I didn't say anything. "Answer me when I talk to you!" He yelled as he hit me. "Cass go to her." I said holding my cheek. Dad took the chance and smacked me again. "We're fine." I said spitting blood out on to the floor.

He took the advantage and hit me a few more times. I never answered him so he got mad. "Maybe I should hit Cass....." Instantly my mother bear came out. I tackled him to keep him away. "Touch her and your dead." I said with no emotion in my voice. It honestly kinda scared me. He just shoved me off and laughed. "You can't hurt me." He said. "She may not be able too but I can." I looked to see who it is and saw Aiden. "Daddy!" Cass yelled but stayed where she was at.

Dad walked over and circled Aiden looking him up and down. I got up and walked over to Cass and picked her up. "Shh...." I said trying to calm her  down. I turned when i notice them fighting. Aiden was going good until dads men came and helped him. They knocked Aiden out and left. Nat went to get the first aid kit. We got him on the bed, cleaned up but he was still out. "Damn you dad....." I said under my breath.

*** So I couldn't think of questions right now. But you guys waited for a update. I had this written and rewrote it like 5 times or more. I just didn't like it. I like this one and hopefully y'all do too!! Comment let me know what ya think so far. Much love!!**
