Ch 8

They came running up the stairs as I tried to calm her down. "What!?!" Aiden freaked. "Calm down now!" I said in a protective voice. Once everyone was there I told them. "She just woke up and saw someone staring in at her through the window an-' 'he has a gun...' 'What?! Baby you never told me that." I said setting her on her bed. She grabbed her teddy bear and held it close to her. "He scared me....." She said with her voice shaking. Danni picked her up and walked down the steps. I knew where she was going so I followed her. We passed the living room and opened a door to the basement. Once we entered the basement we walked through another door into our camera room. "What camera is pointed out of her room?" Dani asked.

Cass came over to me and I typed in 32 on the screen and pulled up her room. It showed the window and she freaked. "Mommy! That's him!" She said pointing at the screen. I zoomed in and still couldn't tell who he was. I printed off the picture and went up stairs. I saw the guys in the kitchen. I sat Cass on the counter and tossed the picture on the island. "This guy was at her window." I said in a angry voice. "We will find him in the mean time I think we need to split. If he thinks that we are all in one house he will attack for her first. We need to just split for a few." I said. They all agreed.

"Katie. What about our date?" Aiden said walking over to me. "I can't....not when someone is after her.... I'm sorry. She's first and always will be." I said looking up at him. He nodded. "I understand." He said sounding sad. I pecked his lips and walked to Danni. "Go on your date. He planned this whole thing for you. He wants a second chance with you. He still loves you." She said. I turned to look back at him. He had a sad look on his face with his hands in his pockets. "Plus' she said making me look at her again. 'You both are dressed and ready." With that I walked over to Adien.  He did have on blue ripped jeans combat boots a white shirt. "You really wanted to go out didn't you." I said walking up to him. "Yeah... I really want a second chance."  I smiled. "Ok. Let's go!" I said and his face light up.

Nick, Amber, Danni and Kyle are staying with Cass. Kyle and nick are gonna try to find out who that person at her window was while the girls try to make her forget about this moment. "Hey. Everything is gonna be ok. She has all of us but we need to focus on what's happening. Any idea who it could be?" Aiden said to me as he pulled out of the drive. "I have a itch who it can be but i hope to god I'm wrong. I haven't even talked to the person in so long anyway." I said clutching my phone tighter. "Who?"  He asked finally getting on the freeway. "I wanna talk to Kyle first.' 'But Cass is my daughter too.' 'I know. But if it's who I think. Kyle is the only one i can trust to get the person." I said ending that conversation.

The night went great. We did check up on Cass like I normally would do. I just couldn't shake this feeling. " I can't believe you yelled at him!" I said laughing. "What? He was literally flirting with you.' 'He's a 19 year old guy. What do you think he would do!?! You yelled back to him!" I said laughing. Aiden just laughed and pulled into the drive way. "Cass is asleep. I think we found the guy!" Nick yelled. I took off to the computer room. "Here is the video." I hit play and noticed right way who it was. "Is that-?' Kyle said '-our dad!" I finished.
