Ch 3

I walked over to Aiden and sat down on the bed. Cass could tell something wasn't right. She went to the corner waiting to know what was going on. "Do you want to tell me...?' 'Tell you what?" I said walking over to Cass. She hid her face in my hair.  "Your in a gang?!?" He yelled. I held Cass closer to me. " I can explain but I cant here. It's not safe here. For the three of us. I promise I will tell you. And it'd not really a gang." He just nodded. " I do have something important to tell you though." I said sitting on the bed beside him. Cass went to him.  She felt safe with him.

"When we dated three years ago, we had that one night to celebrate our three years together.  Well about a week later I found out I was pregnant. After I was about a month going on two I was gonna tell you but you left. I was scared to say anything at first. Cass is your daughter." He sat there and took in what I just said. Cass looked up at him. "Daddy?" She asked. "Yeah baby he's your daddy." I said moving hair from her face. "She's mine?" He said. I just nodded. He looked at me and I got nervous.  He finally smiled.  " I can't believe I'm a dad. I would never of left you if I knew.' 'I know. I was just scared." I told him. He motioned for me to come closer. He grabbed my waist and pulled me closer.  He looked down at my lips and back at me. He leaned in and kissed me. I couldn't help but kiss him back. It felt like he never left. I pulled away. " I got my girls." He said. I smiled at how happy he was. We spent the whole day with him until she fell asleep. " Go home. I'm fine here. I promise. " He said looking at Cass. " If your sure." He nodded his head. I kissed him good bye and grabbed Cass and our bags. I headed for my truck.

I placed Cass in the back seat and buckled her in.  My brother had placed her car seat in when they were here. I put the bags on the floor behind my seat. Pulling her blanket up and handed her her dog she stayed asleep. I got in the front and called Kyle. We talked all the way home about our next move. When i pulled in Kyle had met me outside. He grabbed Cass balancing her on his hip. I grabbed the bags and locked my truck. I got Cass changed and placed her in her bed. I cracked the door so we could hear her if we needed. I walked into my room changing into my pajamas and went to bed.

Later that night I woke up to a loud commotion out the door. Instantly I jumped up and ran to Cass room. I saw she was still asleep.  I picked her up and went back to my room. I tucked her into my bed and went to see what that was. It just turned out that one of the guys dropped a glass and it shattered. I went back to my room and saw Bailey curled against Cass. I took my phone and got a quick photo of them. I crawled back into bed and pulled them close to me. I just wished Aiden was here with us.  He should be coming home tomorrow.  I cant wait so he can really get to know his little girl.  They both need each other.

The next morning I woke up and saw Cass was still asleep I got a quick shower throwing on jeans a normal t shirt and left my hair natural with light make up.  I walked back out and saw Cass was waking up. She saw me and smiled. I picked her up. How I missed having her with me. I took her to her room and let her pick out what she wanted to wear. She picked blue jeans and a gray sweater. After she got a bath and dressed she ran to the kitchen.  She was happy to be home. I could hear her squeal. "Uncle K!" She yelled to my brother. He had her upside down and she couldn't help but laugh her cute little laugh. He flip her up and set her down on the seat at the table. "I went to get donuts this mornimg.  Quick enough so we can eat and get Aiden home." He said placing the donut box in front of us. We each ate two, got our shoes, bags and headed for the hospital. 

We got to the hospital and and saw Aiden was awake and talking with a doctor.  We walked in quietly he saw us in and motioned for us to come all the way in. Cass went to Aiden and climed up and sat next to him.  The doctor finished and walked out. I walked over and pecked his lips.  "I'm all done and can leave once I change clothes. " He told us. He got up and went to the bathroom and changed in to jeans that hung low on his hips and a baseball t. He slid his feet into his converse. He picked up Cass and wrapped a arm around my waist. We headed out to the truck. Dani was just walking in when we were heading out. " We have to go now." She said looking over her shoulder.  Kyle and I both knew something wasn't right.

We got into the truck and went out of the garage.  I could see a truck behind us was close. " looks like we have visitors." When i said that he came closer to us.  I knew this wasn't gonna end well. We took a different way home and he stayed on us. We took a turn and went off the road. Kyle was trying lose them. The truck came up the passenger side and slammed into us. We swerve trying to control the truck. Aiden pushed himself up and I went under him changing seats. He reached into the floor and opened it. Pulling out a smoke bomb he threw it out the window. That gave us time to get away. We got home to notice our house was all messed up. We walked into the rooms packing all we can.

The dogs weren't there.  I saw a note "took the dogs to the safe home. See you soon. We took all that we could quickly. -gang" We finish with what we could grab in time. Kyle and Dani jumped into his truck and we did mine. I floored it out of the drive way heading to the safe house. Which was our main house. We got followed and Aiden did what he needed to and kept Cass and I safe doing so. We almost lost them until my truck was hit and it flipped. We flipped at least 3 times. We came to a stop upside down. We saw the other truck stop and came to us. "Hold your breath and close your eyes." I told them.
