The next morning I heard small chatter and a loud clunk. I bolted out of bed with it scaring me. "What was that?" I asked mainly to myself. I got up and grabbed the sweatshirt that was close by, putting that on I headed down the hall and to the main house. I saw that Kyle and Nick making breakfast. I shook my head and headed back to my room. I checked the time and saw it was 9:00. I went into Cass room and saw she was still asleep. After checking on her I went to my room and that's when I noticed that Aiden was not in the room. I did see my phone light up. I had a message from Aiden on my phone.

Aiden- Morning Babe! I went for a run since I woke up around 8 be back soon. Love you.

I would have replied but he came walking in that moment. He came over to me and kissed my lips. "You smell... go shower first." I said when I pulled away. He chuckled and grabbed some clothes and went for his shower. About 20 minutes later Aiden came back with just his sweatpants on. He walked over to the closet and pulled out a shirt. I grabbed my stuff and went to get a shower myself. After my shower, I put on leggings that stopped around my ankle and a white shirt with a gray sweater over it. I slid on my fuzzy socks. "Lazy day today?" Aiden said walking to me. He placed his hands on my waist, waiting for my answer. "That sounds good to me. Maybe we can do some training, but not to much." I said leaning into him. He leaned down to kiss me.

When I responded, he deepened the kiss. He started to walk backwards towards the wall. I felt the wall meet my back, when I heard little feet walking to us. I pulled away from Aiden when Cass came in the room with her stuff dog. I remembered the stuff dog, Aiden gave that to her on her birthday, before they knew about each other. "Mommy, I don't feel good." She said. Aiden was leaning by the wall beside me. "Come here baby. Let me feel your head." I got down to her level and felt her forehead. "You're not warm. What's making you feel sick?" I said sitting down in front of her. She pointed to her stomach. "Your tummy hurts?" I asked as she came in to me arms. She nodded her head and I held her in my arms. "Why don't you come with me and get you a bath and then we can get you something small to eat, and see how you feel." I mentioned to her. She nodded her head as she hid it in my chest under my hair.

Once I got up I got her to the bathroom. Aiden came in with clean clothes for her. "I'm gonna go out to the main house. Yell if you need me." Aiden said. I nodded my head and he walked out. I got the water warm with some bubbles for her. "Ok Cass its ready." I told her. She nodded her head and I helped her get undressed and into the bath. I let her relax in the water for a few minutes and then helped her get wash. After she was done I helped her get dressed which was a pair of black sweatpants and a pink shirt with a white heart on it. I sat her on the counter so I can dry her hair. I rubbed the towel over her hair and then brushed it out for her. "Thank you, momma." She said in a small voice. My poor little girl. I don't like when she feels down like this. I picked her up and we headed out to the main house with everyone else. "Hey, we have French toast in the microwave for you to heat up. Aiden said he was heading out to the store. He also said that Cass wasn't feeling good. What's wrong with her?" Kyle said taking Cass from me. "Don't know. She doesn't have a fever. She said her stomach hurt." I told him heating up the food. "Everyone ate. It's just you and Cass left. Have you taken her temperature?" he asked, setting her down on the bar stool.

After the microwave was done I set a piece in front of her with some milk and I got mine with some milk as well. "Not yet. I was planning on it after she had ate and rested for a few." I said cutting her food. "Sounds good." Kyle said kissing Cass head. He headed towards his wing. That's when Aiden came back in. "I got some sprite, cheese it's, and some medicine if it's a cold or something.  I didn't know what to get...so I asked the pharmacist for help." He said scratching the back of his neck. "All that sounds good. Thanks Aiden." I said smiling at him. Gotta give him some credit. He never had to deal with a sick kid thats his own. He sat down beside Cass and talked with us.

After we ate she went to the room to brush her teeth. After I did he dishes I went to finish getting cleaned up. I pulled my hair up in a bun and brushed my teeth too. I saw Aiden had Netflix pulled up with Cass on his lap. "Come on mommy!" She yelled at me. I smiled and sat down beside Aiden. He pulled me close and started the show. At some point I don't know when but we fell asleep watching the show. I heard someone talking. I knew the voice and that's when I heard a click sound. "Amber, leave them alone. Come on." Nick said. "They look cute laying there like that. You have to admit." She said walking out. "Sure babe." That's when I heard the door click and my phone buzzed. I stretched and got my phone. I saw it was a picture of us asleep. I was curled into Aiden. My head was on his chest, Cass was curled into his chest tucked under and he had his head on mine. I saved the photo.

I got up and got Cass and put her in her room to sleep. I was able to get Aiden to lay down and put the covers over him. I slid my phone into my pocket. I headed to the main house yawning. "Hey girl." Dani said setting her book down. "Hey." I said taking a seat beside her. We sat there and talked about how much long we we would be laying low. "We haven't had anyone pop up on the radar. I think we're laying low enough. So they can't search us.' 'Good. I know Cass still wants to go to the sleep over this weekend. Do you think it's safe?" I asked picking at the sweatshirt. "Honestly...?" She asked looking at me. "Yeah I want your honesty. What do you think?" I asked turning to look at her more. "Let her go. She finally making friends. She deserves to go if she's not sick." Dani said. "I agree. It just makes me nervous. After everything we been through." I said. "I understand. But we can't live hiding under everything. She is in daycare. She making friends. Let her go. Let her be a kid." Dani told me. "You will know when it's a good thing. Trust me love." She said hugging me. I sat there thinking when she walked away. I sighed and headed for the library. I looked through it and found one. I went back to my room and laid in bed reading. This is the kind of down days I like. Cass is asleep. Aiden is sleeping still. Everyone is good and doing their own thing.
