Nat came in a few minutes later with the first aid kit. Taking it from her I started to clean up Aiden's face. Cass had fallen asleep next to him. I couldn't help but think that if dads men didn't come in Aiden was gonna have the upper hand. "I hate my dad... I swear I hate him." I said under my breath. I continued wiping the blood off his face. After a good 20 minutes or so I was finally done cleaning his face of blood. Now I was just waiting for him to wake up. I got up and went over to the window to see if there was an away to escape. I mean the only reason I didn't grab Cass and leave was since dad had cornered me and was waiting for me to show up. And when I did he had his men around the window. Looking out the window I could see there was no one outside guarding the window. I could see an outline in the tree, a van maybe. Looking closer I could see it was a van. "What is a van doing here?" I said to myself.
"That's how I got here." I heard a voice behind me. I jumped and smacked my head on the window. "Damn it..." I said rubbing my head. I turned and saw that Aiden was standing behind me. I took a good look at him. He had a black eye busted lip and busted up knuckles. I didn't care at the moment I just pulled him into a hug. "I'm so glad your awake." I said to him. He pulled me closer to him. He kissed my hair and kept me there until we heard a little voice that broke us apart. "Daddy!" I looked over his shoulder and saw Cass jumping off the bed. "Baby girl." He said picking her up. "Imissedyouandmommy" she said in his shoulder. He chuckled. "What was that baby?" she looked up at him and smiled "I missed you and mommy." She said in clearer voice. I leaned down and kissed her head.
We could hear the people outside of the room and knew what was going to happen. "3..., 2...., 1...." Cass said. We looked at her and the bedroom door opened. Dad came walking in the room like he was wanted in here, trust me he isn't. "Well good morning my wonderful family. Hope you slept well. Well. Aiden at least." He said like it's funny. I placed my hand on Aidens arm to keep him calm. I felt his hand on the lower part of my back fisting my shirt into his fist. "Calm down..." I whispered to him. He loosen his grip but didn't let go completely. I noticed that Cass had moved behind my legs shaking. I placed my hand on her back and she hid her face deeper in my legs. "Mommy..." she said. "Shh..." Dad took a step closer and I couldn't help but take one back. He noticed that I moved and he took the chance to walk closer.
The fear of my childhood came back and I kept walking until I hit the wall. He closed me in and raised a hand I flinched having flash back. "Still scared of me, I can see." He said stepping away. His men ended up grabbing Aide while dad stared at me. "Maybe if I do this." He grabbed Cass arm and she screamed. I went to grab her back but he pulled her away. His other men came and grabbed me to keep me from getting to her. "Mommy! Daddy!" she cried, with tears running down her face. I saw the look on Aidens face as he tried to get to his baby girl, nothing but pure pain. I tried to get away from dads men but their grip tighten on me. I couldn't breathe because I couldn't get my daughter who is crying in front of me. "Hold on baby girl. Mommy and Daddy are gonna get you." I promised her.
She nodded her head and kept crying. Dads men grip loosen and I took that as a chance to get to her. Right when I was going to grab her he picked her up, right out of my grip. "Dad, please let her go. Don't hurt her. Please, just leave her alone." I said to him pleading. He saw the desperation I was in. "You are just like your mother was before she passed way. The way you would risk everything to save your daughter." He placed Cass on the ground and walked out with his men following him. Cass ran into my arms and I picked her up. Aiden ran over to us and pulled us into a hug. "Daddy loves you. So much." He said into her hair. He wrapped her arms around me and Aiden kept his hold on my waist.
After a few minutes everything had calm down and we are sitting on the bed trying to figure out a way to get out before dads does something that will make this a lot worse. "Do you still have your phone on you?" I reached into my pocket and pulled it out. "I called Kyle when dad pulled that move. He heard the whole thing." I told him. That's when we heard the Kyle. "We are on the way to get you. Hang in there sis. I know what he done in the past, just stay strong. Cass needs her mom." I tried to keep the tears away. "Thanks bub. I love you." I told him holding back the tears. "I love you too." with that we hung up. I know what you're thinking.... You have a phone why don't you call for help before. Simply dad would know, there for he would do anything for me not to be able to get out of here without being in a body bag.
I saw Aiden walking to the window and Cass was laying down on the bed. "Hey, what are you doing?" I asked turning to him. He turned to me and pulled me close. "Figuring out another way out of here. Even before your brother gets here." He said to me. "Is there a forest or woods back there? If there is we can sneak out and run into the woods so he doesn't see us and we can sneak over the city limits." He said to me. "I have a better idea." I told him. "What?' "You take her and make a run for it and ill distract dad.' 'No that's a better bad idea.' 'What then. I like you to come up with something better." I told him crossing my arms. He sighed and looked up at the ceiling. "How about we take off out of here and disappear. Just us. You, Me and Cass. We can leave and figure out what to do. And then take care of it." he said. Signing I couldn't agree more. "Fine. When do we leave?" I said. I watched him walk over to Cass and pick her up. "Now. Come on." I followed him to the window and looked. It was clear so I climbed out slowly. He handed me Cass and he climbed out. He grabbed a hold of Cass and my hand making a run for it. It's gonna long road ahead of us.
