Chapter 5

I stood out in the cold and watched Damon leaved in his expensive car with someone. I bit my lip just standing there completely clueless. The cold air was touching my hands and cheek. I’ve never been later than ten o’clock alone. I start walking down the street wondering if I could recognize any of the street names. Then I read Bloor St. I frowned big time. I knew this street and it wasn’t a good one. It’s were my parent’s club was and I really didn’t want to pass this street. It had been years since I’ve took this way home. Down the street at the left, you’d walk down and open something and down the stairs, you’ll be in the club. It was an underground club. I could go there and ask my parents how to get back home. Do I have any other choice? I took a deep breath and walked down the street that starts to go downhill. It was dark and the floor was concrete gray and vandalism. I start hearing music and it was Sexy back. I hated it… I opened the door that was on the ground and opened it to go down the stairs. My throat became blocked afraid to enter this place again. I froze and looked down the stairs. I was cold and scared. I felt a tear bud in my eye remembering how damn scary it was. I shut my eyes and forced myself to go down the uneven stairs made out of concrete. I closed the top of the entrance of the stairs.

There I saw a tall dark build up man. Yea, I remember him; he’s the safest person along with my parents in this club. He looked at me and then smiled nicely. He hated my sister but liked me, that’s because I was growing up into a good life. His shirt was off but it got bad here.

            “Lexi,” He called out.

“Hi,” I gave a light smile toward him-his name was Javon.

“I haven’t seen you since you since two years ago, how old are you now?” He asked me. I decided to answer and I stopped in front of him.

“I’m seventeen now,” I answered glad that someone like him was in this club that made me feel more save. I still crossed my arm to give a lot of warmth.

“You’ve really grown up into a nice lady,” he mentioned.

            “Thank you,” I smiled.

“How’s your school doing?” he asked.

“Awesome, might get a scholarship,” I mentioned, which was true but even if I didn’t, I still get a lot of money from the job I had. Though, I have to find other ways to do better with Damon. Then someone else came up. The most hated person I hate in this club that works here. He may have a gun but I’ve beat up his ass many times catching him off guard. I frowned looking at him, he was tall skinny white, scruffy beard and ugh.

“Where’s the wicked step sister?” Javon asked me.
