Chapter 10
Red scratches were along my arm with a reminder of Sam. It all started with when Sam starts getting a thing for Josh and wanting more fun and drama in her life. I just laughed at her and told her you could do that yourself if you wanted. ‘All you have to do is be one of those beeps, and there you have pointless drama.’ I fully regret what I told her. I made an attempt to get out of trouble but I didn’t win. At the moment, I was sitting in the office chair in a dark windowless room. The principal’s office was painted dull grey color. My arm stings but I couldn’t care less. Now, I had to talk to Seth and ask him if it was true. I’m not just going to believe Sam yet. I’ve never been in the principal’s office before…
“Ms. Anthis, has something happened during your day away? Having trouble at home?” The women stood in front of me. She wore glasses and her black hair in large curls below her shoulder. Her clothes were really neat. Not anymore… I thought about it. Then again, it was never home. I can hardly ever remember about when my parents and Daphne were together. I mean there was time when we were younger but it makes me upset that everything turned so bad…
“No,” I answered with a fresh nice voice.
“Then do you want to explain the reason for attacking Samantha Davis?” She asked giving a stern look at me. If I say I wasn’t fighting with her or I didn’t start it, she isn’t going to believe me…
“If stopping my best friend who I treat like a sister turning into something that will ruin her life makes me have a strong worded chat with her then I will,” I shrugged and used nice words. The principle looked at me and I was guessing she looked at my marks.
“That hardly seem like a conversation, you hurt her,” She said.
“Physically no… I just put her in a headlock because she pulled my hair and then start scratching me,” I explained. Smart talking out of my way here… That’s how I get people to leave me alone. The principle still looked at me strangely.
“One of the students report that you were dragging, swearing and yelling at her,” She told me.
“That’s true,” I admit. She still seemed surprised at the way I talked.
“She tried to scratch you, what else did she do?” She asked me.
“She did scratch me,” I mentioned “She swore and yelled at me too,”
“What is this about?”
“Something,”
“What is something?”
