Hiccup

The wind blew through my hair as toothless flew faster and faster. We spun under a bridge and close to the water. He made a little splash with his wing and then flew higher just as Dragons edge came into view. And there she was....

Walking into her hut....

It was almost dark now and she was the only one not outside. The others had occupied themselves with other things. The twins, doing whatever they do to entertain themselves , snotlout yelling at hookfang, and fishlegs, with the dragon eye in hand trying to keep everything together.

She rolled her eyes and walked into her hut. Toothless speed up and I had jumped from his back before he even landed. I walked past snotlout who froze in place I could feel his eyes on me as I walked. The twins who were hitting each other also stopped to stare but when I walked past fishlegs I stopped glad I have their full attention. " has it been like this for 3 weeks? Have any of you bothered to look for daugur? Or try and fix anything with the dragon eye?" Fishlegs handed me the dragon eye. And answered for everyone else. " no...Hiccup we haven't....we haven't gotten anything done since you left..." I raised an eyebrow. " and Astrid?" "She's too heartbroken. All she does anymore is roll her eyes and never talks to us she just spends time alone in her dumb hut. All because of you" snotlout said angrily. I cross my arms. "Tonight we are looking for things to help us with the dragon eye. I left because I was heartbroken over Astrid but I'm staying now and I'm not letting you all endanger yourselves just because you won't listen to fishlegs." I turned around as they all shut up and I walked to Astrid's hut. "Oh but brother Hiccup is gone" "st-!" I walk into her hut shocked by what I see...

Daugur, and only have D knows why he was there was holding MY Astrid by the arms and was kissing her.

And Astrid.....doing nothing to stop it....

Her blue eyes met mine and they widened. She began to struggle and eventually gave up playing games and just punched him running to me while he was down. I backed away. "Hiccup! I'm so happy your back! I- I uh..." My eyes flickered from daugur laying on the ground in pain to her. She followed my eyes and immediately started to explain. " its not what it looks like! I promise Hiccup! Hes been sneaking into dragons edge and doing this I haven't been able to stop him. I was too worried about you. He basically assaulted me Hiccup I swear it's not what it looks like..." Tears began to fall as I pressed my lips into a thin line and turned to the rest of the dragon riders who stared wide eyed, not looking at Astrid. I tried to keep the heartbreak out of my voice as I spoke. "Tomorrow well go searching... Tonight I..." I glanced at Astrid. "Tonight I have to get somethings in order..."

I walked alone by myself in front of the dragon riders huts as they slept. It was night and really dark out. Daugur was flown back to his ship and was promised if he ever came back that would be the end for him....

I had only one person on my mind....and it hurt to think of her.....

She was everything to me.... And just thinking about that kiss... Where I took dominance over her.... It made me think of my love for her and how I can't sleep knowing she's kissed daugur of all people and didn't resist.

My life

My baby

And maybe....eventually...she could've been my wife..

But now....

I'm not so sure.....

But I do know one thing....

I still love Astrid...

And nothing will change that....

Nothing..

This must be just a dream.......
