Hiccup x Astrid Just a dream

Chapter 54

Officially have more chapters than the OG(original for all y'all who don't speak my language) book!!!!

Wedding day!!!

Astrid

" I'm nervous."
" Don't be lass. This is a very special day, instead of thinking of all the people who are watching you, think of the man your walking to. After all, he's the reason you're walking down the isle."
"Okay. Okay. She gets it. Here. Take this you'll need it"
Ruff and Val gave been trying to calm me down all day. It's only a few hours before our actual wedding and they're helping me get ready. Valka was telling me not to worry and ruff kind of interrupted slinging her arm over my shoulder and handing me something small and seemed to be made of rubber. I looked down and the object in my hand and then looked at her.
"For the honeymoon dummy" I shook my head at her and sigh as valka's hands kind on my (for once) in armoured shoulders.
"Okay. Let's not worry about that..uh act..and let's get your hair done"
She starts to work on my hair, and my eyes wander to the white dress laying across hiccups bed. It was floor length and dragged behind me, around the bottom there was red and black, kind of looking like blood faded into the white. The veil matched. i was in my own little world asking myself multiple questions in my head. like what a married life with hiccup would be like. would it be different than just dating him? when will he even want kids? when will i? will we fight more? am i going to make him happy as a wife? all of these questions shifted through my mind until valka whispered in my ear that she had finished. she told me to stand up, and put my dress on. the dress pooled at my feet and valka gave me my flowers, and then fixed my veil. she fixed the black belt, with one skull on the front on my dress so that it looked okay with my dress. she had me walk around to see if i was comfortable. i was, becuase i refused to wear any other shoe than my boots. Valka stepped back and smiled, across the room, sitting on hiccups bed, ruff gave a barely audible "wow"
i sighed getting nervous even more.
"how do i look?" i asked shakily.
"beautiful" valka smiled. she walked toward me and gently grabbed my arm. "come. lets try and calm you down a little. You seem to be really nervous"
i nod and follow her downstairs, with ruff following behind me, holding the train of my dress.

the hours passed before i knew it, and we were leaving the house, heading out behind the med hall to a clearing. There i was. just standing off to the side. no one but Ruff and Val with me. No one could see me, but i could see that almost every person in berk had shown up. I looked around for Hiccup. i couldn't see him. I could see all of my friends standing near the front holding seats for each other, but no hiccup. I know the bride and groom arent suposed to see each other before the wedding, but i wanted to see him. If anyone could calm me down enough to make it through this its him. For now I guess Ill just have to wait...

Pretty soon, people sat down and Valka and Ruff both went to their seats. I looked for Tuffnut. My father cant give me away, so Tuff volunteered. I know its weird but its all we could do with my only other father figure being stoick...(don't know why i chose tuff to give her away, but...its happening..its weird, but its happening) I was looking to where the rest of my friends are to see if he was being an idiot and forgot, when a hand landed on my shoulder.
I turn to see tuff with a surprisingly straight posture, one arm behind his back and the other out for me to lace mine through as we walked.
"you clean up nice Tuff" i laughed.
when he answered me, he did it in a really intelligent manor. well, as intelligent as tuff can be anyway. He sounded serious for once and it shocked me.
"are you almost ready to go milady?" it took me a minute to answer him back.
"uh yeah..." then it was time...everyone stood and looked back, I looked up, and everyone else disappeared.. i met Hiccups eyes, and that was all it took for me to stop being so nervous. His eyes went down and then came back up to meet my eyes as he mouthed 'wow' and it looked like he was tearing up. I kept looking at him and only him. He was all i was concerned about. He smiled at me and winked as we made our way down the isle. It was like no one else was here with us, like it was just me and hiccup.. finally we reached him. Gobber asked who gives me away and tuff surprisingly answered formally. " i do my good sir" then tuff looked at me. " they grow up so quickly!!!!" then Hiccups hand was in front of me... i took his hand and he lead me to stand in front of Gobber as he stared into my eyes. It was over as soon as it started, and Hiccup and I were saying 'i do' and sliding rings on each others fingers... I smiled as Hiccup leaned in. He became a few inches in front of my face and then right as he kissed me, he literally swept my off my feet and spun around before he gently placed me down on the ground again. Everyone cheered as Hiccup laced our hands together pulling me with him down the isle. I smiled as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders and kissed me sweetly. I kissed him back, happy knowing that its finally official......
