2days later

Gobber came two days ago and told us they had already sent away hiccup. Now all that's left is the memories we have and the memorial we made in honor of him.
I walk with valka through town and we stop right in front of the memorial. Neither of us say a thing. But we both think k the same thing. I'm sure of it

The things he's done over the past 5 years are either written down and placed on a wall or placed on a table in the medhall.

Hiccup was someone none of us will ever forget.

Today valka and I take step into the medhall to see exactly what is there in remembrance of him.

Along the wall were his drawings, his maps, his armor, his helmet, everything that makes me want to cry.... When i look at valka she's already tearing up and soon i lose it...and then were both holding each other and crying......we sit down and try to collect ourselves....but i cant....all i can think about is him...and...I just hope hiccup is saving me a dance up in Valhalla...

I may have told the lass a lie. Hiccup is gone but not by my doing.

Before I was going to send the lad away, I left the forge. When I came back he was gone..

Even toothless has gone missing. I didn't want to upset Astrid so I told her I sent him away earlier than we expected to.

Whatever happens... I hope the lass was right... I hope this really is.....
