Hiccup x Astrid Just a dream

Chapter39

Today was the visitation....I needed to write this to calm myself down...sorry if it sucks....this was just me trying to calm my nerves....

Hiccup

Black. It's all black. As soon as I was stabbed I lost a lot of blood. And now all I see is black.

I can tell I'm being dragged somewhere....probably one of daugurs men taking me somewhere to go finish me off.

I'm somewhere between conscious and unconscious by the time this person finally speaks.

" hiccup? Hey can you hear me? Listen you'll be fine. Astrid and your mother, all of them they'll be fine okay?"

" Heather?"

" yeah it's me. Listen you need rest. That's why you're with me. I needed to get you somewhere safe. Away from Berk for the time being. When you heal, Berk has its chief back. For now you stay with me."

We had stopped somewhere. She had covered me in fur blankets and put something soft under my head to use as a pillow. And before I knew it I was out of my armor, my sight beginning to clear but it was still fuzzy. My tunic was soon tossed to the side with my armor and Heather was taking care of my wound. And I was falling asleep...

When I woke up
There was a bandage over my stomach that already had blood seeping through it. We were in a room that looked like it belonged to one of daugurs ships. I watched Heather as she walked from the room with my armor in hand. A few minutes later she walked back in and smiled seeing me awake. " hey I hope you don't mind, I washed your armor, well what little armor you have" she laughed. I smiled " thank you Heather." I tried to get up but pain seared through my side making me grunt in pain and fall back.
" yeah you're not gonna be able to move around very much" "yeah kinda figured that out" she laughs before kneeling in front of me reaching for the bandage in my stomach. "Do you mind if I change it? You kinda passed out the first time I did and you haven't seen it yet so uh?"
"Yeah go ahead I bet there will be a scar huh?" She nods before peeking the bandage off slowly.

My wound was worse than I thought. It was still bleeding just because of the little pressure I had put on it trying to get up. It was a long gash that started near my side and ended near my belly button. There will definitely be a scar.....

"Oh boy...how am I gonna tell Astrid where I am?"
I asked suddenly thinking of the look on Astrid's face as I hit the ground and she had screamed my name.
" I don't know but I don't think k you should go back to Berk until your healed. Daugur will still be looking for you. He knows he can't kill you that easily he knows you're not dead. By now he knows I was on your side the whole time. He's probably looking for you now. He never wanted Berk. He wanted you hiccup" I meet her gaze then. " did you know this? Did you know this when I asked you to help me save Berk? Did you know when I told daugur I would go against berk? When In reality I was just trying to get him close enough to finish him off and keep Berk safe from him forever?" I was kinda of angry now. " she looked down before looking at me again as she cleaned my wound and started to place the new bandage on. " no....no I didn't...when he stabbed you I freaked like the rest of them but I had to get you put of there before Astrid started to blame herself for not being able to save you or before anything else bad could happen to Berk." I winced as she put pressure on my stomach to stop some of the bleeding and then smiled at her slightly " thank you that means slot but um where are we? You said daugur would look for me, and if he hasn't found us yet we must not be near Berk...." " hiccup I didn't take you anywhere you wouldn't be safe, I....uh..don't freak out... I took you back to dragons edge..."

My eyes widened... " dragons edge?" I mumbled under my breath. " yes" " but it's gone... I burned it down by mistake... That's why we returned to Berk...I killed dragons edge..."

Two years ago, the twins had a fight and ruffnut ran off, I went out in search of her Astrid following g me and when we found her she stomped off away from us and toward her but where she slammed the door. Later she and tuff came out screaming at each other and then they were pushing each other. I yelled at them to stop pointing at them. Toothless took it as one of the new signals we had been working on in case I want close enough to talk to him to tell him to shoot, he shot a plasma blast, ruff and tuff flew back,and dragons edge burned down. I almost killed ruff and tuff and that's why I never wanted to be Berks new chief. And now we're here again... In the very place where I almost hurt two of my friends....
In the place that haunts my dreams...

I'm here now and daugur is searching for me to maybe kill me I don't know but I'll do whatever it takes to make sure Berk is safe, that my girlfriend is never hurt or afraid, that my mother won't lose anyone else she loves....

" as soon as I'm better we are leaving.....I have to get back to Berk.... I won't give up until daugur is gone...

For good...

This is the last time I let him hurt the people I care about....and I won't let Berk end up like this place because I wasn't there to protect them...his grudge against me will end and I will make sure of it...but I'm going to need your help.."

Heather smirks.....

" I thought you'd never ask.."
