"hi babeeee" luke said as he walked into michael's hospital room. michael face lit up when he saw that luke had bought a pizza for them to share
"aw luke you shouldn't have"
"it's my job to spoil you michael" luke said as michael giggled.

the two boys were eating their pizza and watching a movie when michael said "luke, we need to talk"
"what's up, babe?" luke said with his mouth full of pizza. michael sighed as he put his slice of pizza back in the box, luke copied his actions.
"i think- i think we should break up"
"w-what?" luke stuttered. michael swore he could hear luke's heart break into a million pieces.
"it's just, i feel like i'm dragging you down and i think you'll be better off without me"
"no babe, you're not! if anything you bringing me up. please, michael, don't do this" luke begged as his glassy blue eyes looked into michael's guilt-filled green ones.
"i'm sorry, luke. i can't do this anymore" a single tear rolled down luke's cheek as he stood up
"if you think this will make you happy, then so be it. but just don't forget that i will never stop loving you. you are the love of my life and i hope that one day you realise that this was a mistake." luke sucked in a shaky breath "good bye, michael" he walked out the door with his head hanging.

as soon as luke was out of sight, michael burst into tears. why did he let ashton get the better if him? michael loved luke. but now he had lost him, forever.
