luke and ashton walked out of the coffee shop, their shoulders touching as they laughed at something ashton had said. "i'm so happy i met you luke" ashton said out of nowhere
"me too, ashton" luke said. the two boys smiled at each other.

"wanna go see a movie? i don't know what's on but the movie theatre is right down the street" luke asked as they walked down the busy sidewalk
"sure, i've been wanting to see vacation, wanna see that?"
"okay, let's go" luke smiled

the two boys entered the theatre and lined up to buy their tickets. "next" the cashier yelled
"hey, um two tickets to see-"
"luke?"
"michael, i didn't know you were working right now" luke said quickly
"yeah, you wouldn't, you've been spending a lot of time with him to know what's going on with me" michael said as he gestured to ashton
"i'm so sorry mikey" i promise this is the last time then we can hang out whenever you want"
"that's what you always say. now, what movie would you like to see today" michael smiled fakely.
"vacation please" luke said softly.

luke and ashton walked out of the cinema. "who was that guy you were talking to when you bought the tickets?" ashton asked
"oh, um that was the friend i told you about"
"he seems really obsessive and self centred. he should give you space" ashton said
"yeah.." luke trailed off

"well uh, here's my car" luke said as he put reached hand into his pocket and pulled out his car keys.
"i had a great time today" ashton said
"me too, ashton" luke smiled
"text me later"
"sure thing"
"okay bye" ashton waved
"bye" luke mumbled as he got into his car
