mentions of rape, mentions of self hatred

calum adjusted his jeans and zipped them up as he walked away from michael's shaking body. "next time you'll learn to never say no to me, ok baby?" calum asked michael condescendingly. all michael could do is sob and wrap his arms around his naked, shaking body. calum chuckled softly before exiting the small, dark room.

as soon as calum left the room, michael broke down completely and tears fell down his face rapidly. michael's mind wandered to the thought of luke holding him and he started to cry even harder, sobbing relentlessly. he thought he's such a fool for not just telling luke that ashton was terrorizing him.

michael knew that he would eventually be found, but he's not so sure if he would be alive or dead. calum had been showing psychopathic symptoms, like random bursts of anger and then suddenly crying and saying he was sorry to michael. michael had never been so scared in his life but he would try to move along and get out of here as soon as he could.

michael was even starting to scare himself, thinking thoughts like he didn't deserve to live and that he should just ask to be killed, let the misery be over. he was traumatized by what was happening. calum touched him in places he didn't want to be touched, verbally abused him, telling him he was worthless and didn't deserve to live.

michael was starting to believe calum and started to hate himself, like how he felt before he met luke. luke gave michael a purpose in the world, loving him was a gift from the gods and just being near luke was what kept him alive.

michael realised how badly he had messed up, and wished for his life to be saved.

michael felt a strong gush of wind that brought him out of his thoughts and he looked in the direction it came from, above his head.

a window of opportunity of escape and literally, it was a window. a sudden burst of hope ran through michael as he attempted to stand on his feet but crumbled to the floor in pain as soon as he tried. michael wondered how he didn't see that before but he realised that he was probably in too much pain to notice.

michael's chance for escape was looking up.

maybe, just maybe life would get better.
