luke fiddled with his thumbs as he waited to see ashton. he shouldn't have been visiting him but he had to know why he did this. destroyed him, wrecked him for the rest of his life.

luke had lied to michael about going to the shops but in reality, he was going to visit ashton.

ashton was seated across from luke and he looked extremely happy.

"lukey, i missed you so so much. how are you baby?" ashton asked in a disgustingly happy voice, he reached over to touch luke's hands.

luke quickly took his hands off the desk and covered his body, subconsciously. "i'm fine ashton." luke pretended to be fine but he really wanted to run away. ashton's mood dropped as he saw how scared luke looked.

"babe, don't lie to me. see, you're shaking." ashton reached out for luke but a supervisor intervened, giving ashton a warning about 'no touching'.

"d-don't call me babe, p-please just... just don't." luke felt like throwing up in that moment. "i just came to ask... w-why? why did you do all this? why did you kill calum? why did you... r-ra..." luke trailed off and didn't finish his sentence as he filled with disgust.

"i did this for you, luke. i killed calum because he let michael escape, our plan was ruined because of him. he had to be disposed of. they've only found his head and arms so far... i had to do this because i love you luke. when i get out of here, when i'm better luke... i'll get you and we'll be together forever, and ever."

luke felt like throwing up; he stood up shakily and took a deep breath. he turned around to leave but before he did he looked at ashton, the man who haunted his nightmares, the man that took away his integrity and part of his sanity and spoke to him in a disgusted tone. "you will never hurt me again, you piece of scum."

ashton's face fell as luke looked away and strutted toward the door. ashton felt numb as luke's words rang in his ears. the man he loved just ruined him with one sentence.

ashton killed himself in his room that night.
