Chapter Three : Just Friends

  Not wanting others to know of the ring, which how could they if they don't even read the Farix.

  The Farix is a book all about magic and it's secrets that most haven't realized or known about. The Farix mentions legends of magic and it's your choice to believe if they exist or not.

  But I believe. I've always believed in what the book said, no matter how many people call it fiction.

   What's even more fascinating than this mystery of Zerefs ring, is the unknown remains of the author and who that person is.

   I went up the stairs and placed the ring inside the same ring case that I had my other rings in it.

   No one will notice, right?

   Let's just hope so...

  Not wanting to put anymore unnecessary thoughts into my head, I turn off the lights and decided to call it a night.

   Crawling into my bed, I got comfortable and looked straight at the ceiling as I realized I lied to myself. I had one thought on my mind and I knew I wouldn't be able to go to sleep without thinking it over.

   Why do I have a weird feeling about Zeref? And why am I liking it?

   After this final thought, I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

   "Lucy." I turned to my right where I heard the voice come from.

  "Mother?" I asked in a confused voice as my eyes took in the surroundings.

   I was in a small park over looking a lake. And I was there with my mother who was sitting to the right of me.

  I walked over to her and took my seat as she motioned for me to do such.

  "Lucy, do you remember what I said to you as a child?" She asked me while looking at my eyes.

  I nodded my head.

  "Of course." I replied with a smile. "You told me that no matter who it is, no matter what their past was, everyone deserves a second chance. But it's those that deserve it more than others, that you should allow to try again."

   My mother brought her hands over to me and pulled me into her embrace. I returned the comforting action.

  "My daughter. My beautiful daughter Lucy. I've missed you very much." Mother told me as we hugged.

   "I've missed you too mom." I cried with tears of happiness appearing in my eyes.

  My mother pulled away and she looked at my shoulder. Slowly she used one of her hands to latch onto it.

  Gently she shook me.

  And then my body began to be shaken ferociously.

   "Lucy!" I heard a voice yell at me  and I shifted my body to the opposite side.

   Again the voice yelled.

  "Lucy wake up!"

  I jerked up into a sitting position. My eyes were wide as I realized Natsu was in front of me.

    "It was only a dream?" I mumbled as I couldn't believe how vivid it was to only be considered a dream.

  "Huh?" Natsu said as he looked at Happy. "Lucy I think you should go shower. It looks like your temperature is higher than usual."

   How did he know?

  "Okay." I said while getting up from my bed and walking over to where my clothes were.
