Zeref and I finished our food long with a small talk about our past.

He told about how he had never been with anyone. Except for one person, not exactly telling me who they were, but rather hinting that he did at least experience a friendship.

And I could see that by the way he spoke about the relationship, he'd been hurt by it. Whether he realized it or not, I still hadn't known him long enough to see.

"Here let me." Zeref stood, taking my plate back into the kitchen, setting it down inside the sink.

"Thank you!" I spoke as I followed him over towards the kitchen. "Would you like to watch a movie?"

My question caught him off guard.

"A movie?" He asked, making sure he had heard correctly and I nodded. "But I should probably get going."

"Your going to leave without your clothes?" I said making him freeze. "If you didn't want to watch a movie, you could have just said so."

I walked over to the washing machines and saw that it was still being in the process of drying since I had only placed his clothes about ten minutes ago.

"I'm sorry. But I have to leave." Zeref told me as his eyes flashed another color.

It was so quick I didn't realize what color it was nor that he was in front of me.

"I apologize Lucy, but I'll come get my clothes tomorrow. Or if not, that day after." Zeref spoke to me and I nodded my head as I helped him out the door.

"If I'm not here, try going to Fairy Tail and asking for me. I'm sure others there will tell you where I'm located." I told him as he left.

He was sooner out of my sight than I expected. My body let out a sigh as I closed the door and locked it.

How strange. Why would he just leave like that? So suddenly when I mention a movie.

Does Zeref, perhaps, have a phobia of movies? Or was I too friendly for a stranger he just met today?

I walked over to the fridge and pulled out ice cream, placing it next to the bowl I was going to serve myself in.

While scooping out the chocolate ice cream I couldn't help but think more of what happened with Zeref.

What if I was being annoying and made him ill?

Overthinking this situation made me finish all the ice cream within fifteen minutes of the movie that had failed to capture my attention. I turned off the television and trailed towards the kitchen where I needed to dispose the remains of what once delicious ice cream.

"I'm just gonna see what the girls are up to tonight." I said out loud as I went to my room to get my phone.

Once the phone was in my hands, I felt it buzz. It had been the group chat Levy and Mirajane had created with a few guy friends.

Swiping and unlocking my phone, I found the screen light up as it displayed a conversation I wasn't aware of.

"Anyone doing anything tonight? I feel like going shopping for the ball we have on Friday." Mirajane typed and I couldn't believe it.

I can't believe that I forgot about the ball that was suppose to take place this Friday. And what's even worse was that I hadn't even bought a dress for it.

I quickly typed; I wanna join! Is it bad that I don't have a dress and a date?

I changed out of my pajamas and threw on a pair of tie-dyed shorts along with a simple black halter top. My shoes were simple black boots that had a bit of heel.
