Chapter 2

POV: Summer

I. Don't. Know. What. Is. Going. On. I don't understand why Winter requested me to be brought into this cold emergency room with her before she passed out. I mean I am happy to be here with her. I can not wait to talk to her. The doctors keep telling me that it is late and that I should get some rest but I am way too worried about Winter to sleep. I wish Winter understood that if I get killed it's not her fault.

POV: Winter
I woke up. Really the only reason I'm glad I didn't just die is that I need to be here to protect Summer. Good Summer is in here with me. I need to talk to her. I look up. She is looking at me.
Then at the same time we both say "I need to talk to you."
I said "You can go first"
"Ok", Summer says ,"I don't understand why did you freaked out back there"
"How would you feel if you were the reason your parents died and the reason your best friend is going to get murdered", I said raising my voice a little.
"I don't know. Maybe a little scared. But the thing is you were not the reason your parents were killed and you are not going to get me killed", Summer said way too loud.
"You weren't there when they were murdered. You didn't see the anger in that person's eyes. You didn't see the smirk on his face once he saw he left me parentless.WERE YOU?" I said with a hot tear running down my face.
"Well no I guess I wasn't. But why do you think they are going to kill me."
"H-He told me he was going to make my life terrible. He knows how close I am to you. H-he's either going to kill you or your parents", I said before being interrupted.
"OR BOTH", Summer said.
"Exactly", I said very quietly.
"Well even if that is true it isn't because of you it is because that guy is crazy".
"Just leave. I can't do this anymore", I said, "LEAVE", screaming at this point
"NO I WILL BE WITH YOU THROUGH THICK OR THIN I WONT LEAVE YOU I WILL BE WITH YOU FOREVER."
"I WON'T LET YOU GET KILLED. NOW, LEAVE AND ACT LIKE YOU NEVER MET OR SAW ME", I said before sobbing and feeling dizzy again.
"NO I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU" Summer said making me a little angry.
"Summer please, I n-need to be alone just for tonight. I need time to think", I said feeling as if I was going to pass out again.
"Well there is no way I am leaving the hospital but I'll go in the waiting room" said Summer.
"Hey Summer before you leave I need to ask you a question" I said
"What".
"Will you help my dye hair blue tomorrow?"
"Winter, really", Summer said through giggles," I doubt you will be out of the hospital"
"Ya! Really!!! That is why you have to help me. we can do it here! DUH!!!!!!!"
"Get some sleep, Winter. Lets see how you are tomorrow"Summer said rolling her eyes walking out the door.
"HEY YOU GET SOME SLEEP TOO" I yelled.
I planed that perfectly. Summer will think I'm going to sleep. I grabbed the ivys all at once and yank them from my arm. Slowly raising from the bed. "What are you doing", I think,"I'm saving Summer. Just what I need to do". I write a little note saying
"I love you Summer. I have to go to be there for you. Don't forget be safe. I'll Never Forget You. Never forget me.-Winter XOXO".
I got up, quietly. Feeling dizzy. I look down at my arms to see blood gushing out of them. "This is all for Summer. All for Summer, I whisper to myself. My head is spinning. I still have to get out of this place. I got 10 feet down the hallway and saw a nook in the wall. I needed a break, so I scrunched my self inside. I clasp on to the floor. "SUMMER HELP. SUMMER. S-SUMM", I yelled before passing out.
