Chapter 10

Summer's POV
Winter and I look great. My mom looks good to. Honestly Ashton looks good. He looked good before. I mean not that I noticed I mean he just. Anyway right now Winter is helping him pack up.
"I'm gonna go hurry them along," I say.
"Okay," Mom says still staring at herself in the mirror.
    I run up the stairs to hear Winter laugh. The kind of laugh I haven't heard in a long time. I guess Ashton's the only one who can do that. Hopeful he'll stop the panic attacks. He makes her so happy yet some how she has never mentioned him. How come I can't make her laugh like that anymore? I wipe the thoughts out of my mind as I walk  into the room. I walk in to see Winter just laying on his bed and him packing all by himself. They seemed to be deep in conversation so I just stood back and watched. Winter kept laughing at him and he kept doing stupid things while packing his suitcase. They didn't even realise I was here until I started laughing. He was doing "packing yoga". 
"I just came in here because mom's being vain.",I say.
"Vain?" Ashton asked.
"Your so dumb your mind can't even function with it," Winter says.
"Having or showing an excessively high opinion of one's selves appearance, abilities,or worth." ,I say ,"Oh I mean liking to look in the at yourself in the mirror."
"Oh, wait what'd you say?" Ashton says
"Someone who likes to look at there self in the mirror", I say looking down at my hands starting to get nervous that my secret will come out.
"Oh no. Before that." He says
"Nothing," I say quickly.
"No, No you said something. This is a safe place," Ashton says shutting the door wiggling his eyebrows and chuckling
"I didn't say anything before that. I don't know what your talking about." I say even though I know exactly what he was talking about
"Sit down." He says
"Ok" I say as I sit down on the bed next to a now sitting up Winter
"We are going to be traveling together we are going to be living together we are going to haft to act like siblings around people. We can't have secrets. What are you hiding?" He asks
I just sit there staring at him.
"She's really smart but she doesn't like to share it with people. Thanks for intimidating her. Now it's going to take her a while to trust you." Winter tells Ashton "Hey Summer can you help me fold these close? Oh and Ash we can take care and take care of this please just go down stairs"
"But it's my stuff!!!" Ashton says
"Does it look like I care?" Winter says
"No" he says as he walks out
"I'm sorry" I say quietly
"Why? He was being a jerk. I'm sorry that he now knows your secret." She says
"It's ok and because you guys were having a good time. He made you laugh. I mean actually laugh."
"It's fine" she says and we get to work folding his clothes. We finish folding his clothes and put them in the suitcase.
"Ash's come up here please." Winter yells
I hear him coming up the stairs and open the door.
"Can carry the stuff down the stairs?" Winter asks
"Sure. Oh and I'm really sorry Summer." He says as he picks up some of the stuff and takes it down stairs
"Let's get the rest of this" I tell Summer
"Ok"
We pick up the stuff and bring it down stairs. We put all of the stuff in his car and transfer our stuff into his car also.
"Ok. Let's head to my friends house. His roommate Jack can make the IDs and birth certificates." I say
"Ok let's go" Ashton says
He gets in the driver seat and starts the car.
"Get in" he yells from his window as he buckles his seatbelt and turns up the music. We all pile into the car and starts driving down the street.
"Do you want to know where to go?" I ask him
"Ya."
"Ok. He moved to Colorado a year ago so we have a long drive. I already have his address in my phone. Get on the interstate north bound. Then exit on exit 67."
"Ok" he says
