Okay! I'm back with an update! Yea, so boys are happening. I have no idea how this is going to happen... Please don't judge me to harshly. So go ahead, read some more, because now I've posted, chapter four. I'm going to try to write a rhyme each time.... Okay here you go!!! The picture is Max! You have no idea who he is, but you'll love him in about 1 minute.
Abigail gasped. "Max?" She whispered.
The boy's jaw dropped. "Gail?" He whispered back. He had brown hair and light blue eyes.
As the boys spread out, heading to their country's spot, Max walked up to her and sat down.
"What-what are you doing here, Maxwell?"
"Well, Abigail, a little bit after you were accepted into EGAES, I was applied to EBSHI... So here I am!" He finished nervously.
"Max..." She paused, unsure, "I've... I've missed you!" She exclaimed, throwing her arms around his neck. "So much has happened the past eight years!"
"Oh... um, it's nice to see you, Gail..." He mumbled uncomfortably.
"Oh! Sorry. Habit. I-um-how are you?" She replied awkwardly.
"Yeah, I've been-I've been okay, I guess. EBSHI really gives me the challenge I needed. It's nice to see you, oh-I already said that..." He stuttered.
She giggled. "It's okay, Max. The last time I saw you, we were six, and we were fighting, then I left. I never thought I'd see you again... I guess it would be... er-weird to see each other."
"Oh-uh-yeah, naturally. Er, how have you been?" He asked.
"I-not the-sorry. I've been better..." She stammered.
"Oh, I'm sorry. What happened, Gail?" He asked kindly. His clear blue eyes softened at her.
Abigail smiled tightly, though the memories made her blink back tears for a moment. "Just stress about school, I suppose."
Maxwell tilted his head to the side curiously. "I didn't mean to push, I'm sorry. Other people are starting to head out. Could you show me to where we'll be staying?"
"Oh, yes, of course. Follow me." She said, standing. "We live close to the hall, and I'll show you where the boys we staying."
"Lead the way!"
"I am, Max!" She said enthusiastically.
"Shush Abbie! Don't scream in the bloody halls!" He whispered, chuckling.
Abigail sighed. She missed being able to joke around with friends, with nicknames only they used. Her mood shifted as she thought this.
"What did I say, Abbie?" Maxwell asked, confused.
"Nothing... I was just thinking about an old friend." She replied, her walls going up.
"Cheer up, Abbie! Hey, is this your room?" He asked as they walked past a door that read Scotland and Ireland, though Ireland was crossed out. A daily reminder of Isabella.
"Yeah. I try not to look at the sign too often." She softly replied, and Maxwell could see a fragment of the saddened girl behind the facade.
"So, where are the guys staying?" He asked, changing the topic.
"Oh, of course. Somewhere called the East Wing, let me show you!" Abigail smiled once again, this time more easily, as it was simple to fall in old patterns.
Aww wasn't that sweet? See, I told you you'd love Max!
As for love interest, I have no idea. Like I said, this boy aspect of the story is brand new, so he may be a little crush, or he may just be Abigail's new old best friend.
What do you think? Is the Abigail/Maxwell ship going to sail, or naw? Oh, and what's your favorite nickname for Abigail? Abbie, Abs, or Gail? I like Abs or Gail. Abbie is too normal.
Hey, by the way, you should vote and comment!
Okay, you know the drill! I love you all!
