Hey giraffes! I am back from the dead! No, actually I'm still at school. My teacher let jkhull02 and me start a writing club during lunch! Fun! Okay, in all seriousness, do you know who this is? Because it's an unknown POV! Isn't that fun? Can anyone figure it out? That's all! The unknown character is the picture, and this character already exists in the story. That's it for the clues, here is the tenth chapter!

Edit 10.17.16
This chapter is actually pretty okay...wow okay. I'll just...leave this here.

Earth Time: October 29, 2015
Location: Pyralis

"She will not listen to us." I said.

"She has to. We cannot let your prediction come true!" The girl with fiery hair said.

"It is set. You cannot change fate without her." I replied.

"No. NO! There has to be another way!" The fiery girl shrieked.

"You know how fate is. I do not design it. I simply tell it. Look at where it brought you, Inquisitor." I told her.

"Yes, but it brought me here without her! The second it happened, I wanted to go back! But I didn't know how!" The fiery one responded.

"She is the key! She is the way back! Open your eyes, Embervile! If you ever want to see Douglas again, you need her to come here! And make sure she remembers! Otherwise she'll be trapped, just like us, and I cannot ask that of her. After what you did, she is ruined." I told her sadly.

"What I did? That isn't as bad as what you had done!" Embervile argued.

"I HAD NO CHOICE! I was dying! And I didn't understand what I had done! But that isn't me anymore! I am Interblast now, and not just to you! Besides! This is all your fault! I hated myself for what I did, but I hate you even more!" I yelled back.

"You're right. I am sorry. This is all my fault. I left her! I hit her! How could I let it get so out of hand? Undina was beautiful. But it didn't make me happy. And it hadn't made me forget. This place, Pyralis, it's nothing like that. Why would you come here?" She asked me.

"Because I was in pain. Just like you were. Mine was physical, your's mental. But we were drawn here for a reason! You were sad too, that's why you were originally drawn to Undina, but it morphed into pain! We weren't happy enough for Ceila, too wild for Sylva, and too light for Nerezza! We were chosen for Pyralis!" I told her.

"I don't want Pyralis! I meant to choose her! But I chose the wisdom that would be offered to me by Pyralis, instead of her!" Embervile yelled back.

"Okay now, Isabella. Please. Calm yourself. You don't want to turn into... that again." I whispered.

"Of course. I cannot let that monster out. I am calm. Thank you." She told me, her breathing and voice settling again.

"Good. Now, do you have a better idea to reach her? She thinks the dreams are hallucinations, sent to torment her." I asked, desperate to undo the changes that happened to me.

"No. Maybe, with your magic you can-?" She asked me.

I shook my head. "No. You know my magic is limited to Pyralis, and the dream world. If I try, it just won't work. It's tiring enough, sending your subconsciousness into the dreamscape, I just know I wouldn't be able to." I said, frustrated. I turned and headed to my wing.

"No-Interblast wait! Ba-"

"WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT CALLING ME THAT?" I screamed, my face morphed and distorted by the magic. "THAT GIRL IS GONE. ALL THAT IS LEFT IS INTERBLAST. NOTHING MORE!!!" I screeched. "NOTHING!"

"Right. I'm sorry. I know, you've told me a dozen times. Calm yourself. You tell me not to let the monster out, you should do the same." Isabella told me.

I realized I had just yelled at my only friend here. I went from an angry, magical monster to an upset, crying mess. "I just want to see her again, Bells. I just want to go back. I hate it here! What did we do to deserve this? Why, Bells? Why?" I cried, falling into her arms. And in that moment of weakness, I realized that I couldn't rely on Douglas. I could only rely on the people that were here. Isabella. She will always be here, because we can't leave. Because friends rely on each other. If we couldn't rely on Abigail to save us, we would have to save ourselves. "You know what, Bells? We don't have to rely on Abs. I'll find us a way out of here, finally." I said, drying my eyes, and feeling determined.

"Okay. But please, one more time, I want to try to reach her. And that will be it." Isabella pleaded.

"Ok." I agreed. "Once more. Tonight. And then we'll start figuring out our own way out of here."

"Yes. We don't need Abigail. If she can help us, we'll use it, but otherwise we're on our own." She finished.

"Indeed, we're on our own. And we will accomplish this. We will get back. Because we're on our own together. I am so glad that you came. I was alone. But at least we will get out of this together. Thank you." I said meaningfully.

"Thank you for helping me understand what happens to people who get trapped in Pyralis. Let's get ready. This is our last link out to Abigail. I'm going to make it count." She said back, feeling more confident.

"I'll always have your back."

"And I'll always have yours."

Aww! That was sweet, confusing, and upsetting. Thanks again, jkhull02 for giving me the suggestion of a mystery POV. So, who was the girl in the picture talking to (obviously) the "dead" Isabella. See how "dead" is in quotation marks? If it wasn't clear, let me clear it up. ISABELLA EMBERVILE IS NOT DEAD!!! Crystal clear now? Cool. I know this chapter is shorter than some of the recent longer ones, but I could only play around so much with Mystery and Isabella. At least I hit the 1000+ words! 😁😊 Yup. Okay! As usual, thanks for reading, I love you all!

Keep being awesome giraffes!
