Abigail's heart was beating in her chest. Isabella wanted her dead. Basia wanted her dead. And Max-she didn't know what to make of him now. She didn't know what he did, but she did know he did something that changed everything.

"What happened to you, dear? You look pale!" Laura asked, turning Abigail's face in her hands.

"You look like you've been crying, love. Are you alright?" Linnéa added, concerned.

"Huh? Oh, yes, yes. I'm alright. I had a nightmare." She explained, not lying, but omitting the whole truth.

"Must have been one heck of a nightmare!" Rose snorted. "Not to sound insensitive, sorry Abigail." She apologized.

Abigail nodded absentmindedly. She just stared blankly at her bowl of muesli, barely processing and retaining the information around her, for she was too caught up in her memory of that morning.

Abigail, please come back. I just don't understand anything anymore... Don't understand anything anymore... Anything anymore... Anymore... more...

"Abigail!" A sharp voice pulls her out of her confusion. Lukas.

"Lukas!" She shouts back with the same tone.

"Good to see you up and alive, Red!" He called out jokingly, walking over.

"Lukas! Not supposed to mention that!" She quietly hissed, while subconsciously rubbing her stomach.

"Right. Sorry, I had forgotten that we'd sworn to secrecy, Red!" He cheerfully replied.

"Red?"

"Well, Max calls you Gail, or Abbie. Your friends had called you Abs. Your new friends call you Rivera. And you get mad for Red?" Lukas responded cautiously.

"Whatever, Lukas." She snapped, not giving a damn.

"See. Bipolar." Lukas sassed, annoyed.

Abigail sighed with exasperation. "Where's Maxwell, Lukas?" She asked.

"Why? You two couldn't even look at each other after you came back. What happened between you too?" Lukas inquired.

"Honestly Lukas, I don't know. He did something right before I woke. I don't know what, but he changed everything." Abigail told him.

"Who changed everything?" A boy asked from behind them.

For a moment, Abigail's heart stopped. She replayed the voice over and over, and then finally found her voice. "Mal! You gave me a bloody heart attack!"
