To start: when I am writing these beginning author's notes, it's usually between 2 days and a week before the story is posted. Just to clarify. And the story is taking place in the present, in the sense of technology and year. However, it's currently before Halloween, and the aforementioned dance is taking place the day before Halloween, it's a costume dance-type thing. So all of this story has taken place on October 29th! Annnnnyways! So, fun fact about Tiberiu, the guy in the pic. He has a perfect memory! But that's not as awesome as you think. Because he remembers everything he's ever seen, heard, touched, smelt, or tasted. And I mean everything. Like that one embarrassing moment, or the one thing you wish you could un-see. Because he remembers those, perfectly. And that's why he's so introverted and shy. He always is afraid that one word or thing will trigger the memory, and then he'll have to relive it. Yeah, sucks. And is he a vampire? Oh I don't know? Well, I know who he really is, but you don't! Cue evil laugh. Anywho, here's your chapter 9! Enjoy!!!!!

No words. Just cringes.

"So, with all that evidence, Tiberiu must be a vampire, don't you agree?" Lukas finished, supporting the theory that his friend was undead.

"That is not enough concrete evidence. Besides, Max told me all about Tiberiu, in case I ran into him. He's slightly anorexic, those 'red drinks' give him the nutrients he needs, he comes from a religious family, and he's wary of memory triggers due to his photographic memory." Abigail said, rolling her eyes.

"Just you wait; I'll prove it, and you'll all say, 'we've been so stupid, it's clear Lukas is the real genius!'" He said, looking proud.

"No one will ever say that." She deadpanned.

"Whatever. I am going to make new friends, friends who are better than you. Maybe I shall befriend Scarlett, Gabrielle, and Fleur. They seemed lovely, though the latter seemed quite meek." Lukas said, fed up with people hating his ideas. He proceeded to spin on his heel and stomp out of the room.

"No, Lukas, she is not-. Oh, why bother? He seems smitten with her. And now I'm talking to myself. Great. I shall go find The Garden, they're always fine company." She said, and locked the door before searching for The Garden.

(Oh look, The Garden Insider! New friends are so gonna happen.) Edit 9.5.16 CRINGE CRINGE CRINGE

"So naturally, since he started the rudeness, I couldn't show him my sweet side. So, and his face was priceless, I said: First off, you are rude, and who do you think you are? Because this is a girls school. I'm the girl, you're the guy, so you best watch out because we will ruin your life if you play your cards wrong." Rose said, laughing with her friends.

"So, what did he do?" Fleur asked, excited for a piece of gossip that wasn't biased from Scarlett or her sister.

"He just stood there, looking shocked. He must think highly of himself because he seemed shocked that someone would dare say that to him!" Rose said, laughing at her recollection of the conversation.

"So, did he say anything thing else?" Laura pressed.

"No, but then I said: Second, if you're being rude, why should I help you?" Rose replied.

"What did he want?" Linnéa asked.

"He'd been trying to find Abigail's room." Rose clarified.
