Hear the cows moo.
Here they make sound.

Hear the cats purr.
Here they ask for attention.

Hear the birds build their nests.
Here they make home.

Hear the bees busy at work.
Here they give flowers hope.

Hear the humans scream and cry.
Here they shout at hurt.

Hear the children screaming.
Here they run away from humans.

Hear the babies coo.
Here they begin to poison their innocence.

Hear the couple laughing.
Here they killed a child.

Hear the old man speaking.
Here he speaks of his wife.

Don't hear the cries for help.
Not here do they get any.

Don't hear the squirrels in pain.
Not here on the ground with a broken leg will it survive.

Don't hear the silent cries for help.
From here their agony becomes relief.

Don't feel your heart beating.
For then you will know you are human.

And humans will not hear.
They will only come here.
They will only tear.
And they will only fear.
