The Devil Inside My Head

Its all the same,

We always have that one person to blame.

For our wins and our losses,

I just never thought we could be such big losers.

We took shit and ate it all day,

All so we wouldn't be dismayed.

I mean come on, were we such imbeciles?

To have thought that we had such big circles?

We were monsters,

Built by rage.

Did you see that little girl's eyes?

When I shot between them?

They stayed open,

Mine did too.

You were bigger than hurricane Sandy,

You drank their blood as if it were brandy.

You were going to fast,

30 left to take their last breaths.

What were we thinking?

Our delirious minds were bleeding.

I can see the gun in our hands,

And the blood that colors what used to be bland.

You could have been an astrologer,

I could have been a doctor.

But no, our rage brought us here,

Where all our dreams were torn.

Now all that's left is a bullet to the brain,

Deep inside, where the Devil sits and laughs,

There where the throne,

Is shielded by bones.

We are all the same,

We always have that one person to blame.
