The End

This is not the end he said,
With a mournful look and restless heart,
He whispered, this is not the end.

A lifetime is never enough,
A 7 year dream is just too short,
Your heart was aching,
And mine, breaking.

Your body was cold,
Like the steel table you lied on,
Your eyes were pained,
Mine were drained.

It was time you cried,
It was time.

I just wasn't ready,
Ready to see you go,
I dont think I was ever ready,
Ready to see you leave.
But I showed you the way,
Through the pain and grieving hearts,
I watched you leave,
With that same look of grief.

It was my time you said,
You were beaten down.
Death was consuming you,
Eating you.
You smiled anyways,
Through your pain and hurt,
You smiled.

Carry with you our adventures,
Our joy when you were just a boy,
You were never just a toy, you were never just a coy,
You were my everything, and now my everything is left with nothing.
But its alright, my nothing will be felt with something. Until then, rest my boy.
I will always love you.
Like the Sun is to the moon,
I shall let you shine.
Like the memories are to a brain,
I shall remember you.
Like the shadows are to the light,
You will always be there.
Like the heart is to a body,
I will always love you.
It is not the end, as you said.
Never forget me, never ever do.
You will always be mine, for yesterday, for today and for tomorrow.
It is not the end, it never will be for us both.

I love you.
