The beat of the drums against your chest, take you back to a place you couldn't rest.
The strike to the head, brings no pain but the nightmares in your bed.
The hollow laughter at your weakness, brings about nothing but your sadness.
The trampling and stepping, makes your limbs hurt but not more than your cutting.
Running away was the solution, you have become the solute, for there is no greater solvent then darkness itself.
Suicide it seems, may be the only way, for the dead to be free and the free to be dead, but are we really that free?
Time may be of the essence but when it comes to freedom, it is a ticking hourglass.
With every step, with every breath, with every pant, with every struggle, you get further. Further from darkness, further from pain, further from agony, further from mockery, further from deceit and further from evil.
You chose to run away from life, now you live in freedom. Your freedom may seem resolved. In truth, you have ran into darkness, you have ran into pain, you have ran into agony, you have ran into mockery, you have ran into deceit and you have ran into evil.
This is not freedom.
