Pain Comes Back

Hi there pain,
You're back.
From wherever it is you came,
To paint me black once again.

I see you with my big eyes,
The ones which you made cry.
Stains from the previous time,
Remain on me as my new ones start to dry.

I'm listening to you,
Humming to the sounds,
I'm screaming and shouting,
But you don't give a fuck, do you?

I'm trying to breathe,
But you're holding me down.
All I can do is struggle,
As everything crumbles like flour down a sieve.

Go away pain,
You were here before.
It's time you went again,
This time forever.
I don't want to see you come by anymore.
For those days are long gone.
I have suffocated long enough.
It's time you suffered pain, it's time you had a taste of your own medicine.
For the burn is real.
And the pain you cause; surreal.
