I watched as the distinct brown in his eyes fade.
Watching as the dark black started spreading around his once chocolate eyes.
He shivered and fell with each step he took.
He stopped there, lost, confused.
He was hurt, pained.
He walked and he fell, pain circling him like a avalanche hitting its mark.
He looked into my eyes and that was all I saw.
The dark eyes that were not once brown.
The dark eyes that held no joy nor happiness.
The silent gnawing sound sent chills down my back.
It was all my fault. It was always my fault.
He looked up at me and I could see the forgiveness in his eyes.
A heart that beautiful was all I saw.
Although frail and weak, his body of vulnerable meat, emitted light.
He was light, my heart broke.
I saw no love. Only sorrow.
And it was all me, all my fault.
I caused this.
All I can do, is pray that his heart warms up once more.
His eyes come back to its warm chocolate.
He skin strong and tough.
His body no longer cold.
His strength no longer fading.
For I wish him to be good again.
For me to be better.
I wish him to just be good again.
Please.
