The Living Broken (Poetry)

Only Human

I'm a dream,
Lost in a voyage of stars,
Drifting through everlasting timelapses,
Bound to become non-existent.

You're a nightmare,
Jumping through colours,
Stealing the truth and love,
Becoming a darker piece of pain.

I'm a mere nomad,
Wandering along the edges of Earth,
Thinking of when days would drift,
Wondering when home will ever be real.

You're a hoarder,
Collecting treasures as you go,
Never letting go as you should,
Preparing to own the universe.

We are humans,
Mistakes make us,
Truth bends us,
Time eats us,
War pains us,
Love moulds us,
And people kill us.

For we; are only human.
