but just imagine it.
living without barriers
no restricting religion;
take off your glasses
and simply see people.
do not see color
or anything putting us in categories.
can you just imagine it?
I know,
I'm just a dreamer.
but you have to believe
I am not the only one
with this dream.
a dream to live in a world
where there is no heaven
or hell
or countries.
imagine if we could
live simply to live.
join hands and consider it,
living as one,
living in peace,
imagine.

Today, John Lennon would have been 75 years old. I wrote this poem in honor of him, and in honor of his dream of peace. John, along with his widow Yoko, has always been one of my biggest inspirations. He was an incredible man, and even though we lost him many years before I arrived on this Earth, I know that he made an incredible impact on the world. This is for you John.
