Can't Have You

Chapter 12

"Charlotte get up. It's 11:30 in morning. And we're having launch with Stacy and her Mom today." I wake up to my Mom yelling.

"Okay Mom, just like 30 more minutes." I say to her.

"Charlotte we have to be out the door by 12:30 so get your ass up go into the bathroom. Take a shower, do you hair and makeup, get dressed and come downstairs. Oh and if I have to come back in here you won't like it one bit." My Mom says leaving my room.

"Why me." I say getting out of bed and doing as my Mother told me.

After my shower, hair doing and makeup I go to my closest to pick out something to wear.
I decide on something girly today so a put a pink floral print dress with a laced short sleeve jacket and some nice powder pink flats.

"Don't you look nice." My Mom says as I walk into the living room.

"Thanks Mom." I say.

"Well we can actually leave now since it's already 12." My Mom says.
"Okay than let's go." I say to her and we make our way out door.

"Oh no sweetie we're just going across the to Liam's house." My Mom says as I'm making my way over to her car.

"I thought you said we were having launch with Stacy in her Mom." I say to her.

"We are and Karen and Liam too." She says.

"Mom do I really have to go?" I ask her. I really don't feel like dealing with Liam and Mia today.

"You don't have if you don't won't to. I just wanted to spend sometime with you that's all. We haven't really had anytime together since you've been home." My mom says making me feel bad.

"Let's just go Mom." I say grabbing her hand and walking across the street.

Once we get there my Mom knocks on the door and in no time Karen answers it.

"Hello, you two look lovely." Karen says hugging my Mother then me.

"Thank you, you look lovely as well." Mom says.

We all make our way out into the backyard where Karen has launch sit up. When I walk out into the backyard I see Stacy, her Mom and Liam but no Mia. "I wonder where she is." I say to myself.

"Charlotte!" I hear Stacy say as she runs over to me and pull me into a tight hug.

"Hi Stacy." I say laughing. Stacy is the daughter of one of my Mom friends named Elizabeth. I met Stacy when we were like 16, she's a really nice girl.

"I've been dying to see you, you look so pretty and I love your dress." Stacy says.

"Thank you Stacy. You look really pretty too." I tell her.

"Come let's sit I have so much to tell you." Stacy says as she pulls me over to my seat.
The thing about Stacy is that she's annoying as hell. She never shuts up, But I put up with her because she's a very sweet girl and I've grown to love her.

"That's so good, I'm so happy for you." I say as she tells me about how she's doing in school.

"Anyway enough about me, how has things been with you?" Stacy asks me.

"Not much really, school's hard but I'm pulling through." I say to her.

Me and Stacy talk for what seems like hours but I'm sure it wasn't. She tells me how she's still in love with Jack, which is sad because Jack broke up with her like three years ago or something like that. But I really can't judge her when I'm still in love with someone I broke up with like three years ago.
