Out of all the people in the world, seven billion people, this stupid Meredith chick got stuck being my neighbour. She was hot, but man, she had some serious issues.

Did she not recognize me? I'm Harry Freaking Styles for crying out loud! Who does she think she is, bihcing me out like that? But what I also didn't get, was she was cool with the other guys, why not me? What the hell did I do? To make matters worse, everyone else LOVED her.

"She was so sweet! And she cares about the environment, what an awesome girl!" Eleanor had praised, and everyone jumped in to agree.

They had spent the rest of the afternoon talking about her, until the girls agreed the should go back to their hotel. We had to get up early and go to our new tutor's house, Unlce SI had insisted we expand our knowledge, so he hired one of the best teachers in the world from Colorado. I thought it was stupid, we were all almost adults, why did we need school?

No matter how much we protested, Uncle Si had insisted. Currently, we were all in the living room drinking left over beer and scotch, discussing our new favourite (well, not mine) topic, Meredith.

"What a shame she couldn't stay longer, I'd like to get to know her better." Niall said nonchalantly, but his eyes showed something else, he didn't just want to get to know her personality, but the rest of her too.

"Second that!" Liam chirpped.

"How the hell did she afford to move here?" I asked, a little more sour than I had intended to sound.

"Why does it matter?" Zayn shot back.

"Well, she moved into one of the most expensive areas in L.A, and judging by the house she picked, her income most not be all that great." I shrugged my shoulders and downed my glass of scotch. Everyone starred at me like I had just killed a puppy.

"What?"

"Harry Edward Styles! You can't just judge people like that!" Liam exclaimed, even though his parental voice didn't phaze me like it used to.

"I wasn't judging, I was observing. Besides, we could have used her lot and made a soccer field or something. You wouldn't deny that, right Lou?" I asked him. We were as tight as friends get, and I knew he would agree with me.

"What the hell's your problem mate? Sure, that would be nice but Meredith's a fine girl, no need to be so rude." I just shrugged my shoulders and opened another beer.

"I was just saying, calm down."

"You know? The bigger we get as a group, the more arrogant you become. Just because everyone thinks you're the hotshot, doesn't make you better than everyone else! You know what? I'm going to bed." Louis stomps off to his bedroom. I must admit, that one stung.

"He's right Harry, the world doesn't revolve around you." Zayn snarled, following Louis close in tow. Niall got up and sent me a glare, going to bed himself. I was soon left with just Liam. He was starring at me in a way that made me furious. He was looking at me like I was a lost cause.

"What? Got something to pick on me about too?"I shouted at him. He just shook his head and got up.

"Harry, you know we have a point. Goodnight." He waved me off, leaving me all alone in the big room.

It was seven a.m, and there was no way in hell I was getting up earlier than that. We had to be at his house in fifteen minutes, so I threw a beanie over my slightly dirty hair, and changed into some proper clothes. I guess I'll shower when we get home. I was standing in my bathroom (we each had our own) when I heard Louis talking behind me.
