I walked quickly down the street in pursuit of my stalker if you will. Although it seemed as if I was stalking him now… I forcefully pushed the door to the diner open, stumbling in. I felt eyes watch me while I made my way to the bar. I heard a couple quiet mumbles, some people realizing who I was. A small blonde greeted me at the counter.
“Hi there ma’am. What can I get for you?” She asked.
I looked around, slightly ignoring her question before I was broken from my trance.
“I said, what can I get you?” She repeated.
“Uhm. What. Oh, I’m not getting anything I was wondering if there was a boy who works here.” I said, sounding stupid.
She chuckled at my statement. “Well, there are plenty of boys that work here. You know the name of the boy?”
“If I knew his name why wouldn’t I just say it?” I asked, regretting it immediately. “Sorry, I’m just in kind of a rush.” I added, trying to lighten the mood again. “Anyway he’s about this tall and he has brown hair and dark eyes.” I tried to describe him as I had remembered him, but I had only encountered him in the dark.
“Oh. You must be looking for Logan.” She answered. I nodded, unsure of his name in the first place. “Yeah he should be here any minute.” She said, motioning towards the door. I walked over to a booth, waiting for his arrival. What was I doing? I don’t just wait for people. This guy was clearly causing me enough sexual frustration to make me come to his work. I got up to leave and reached for the handle, running straight into someone. “Sorry.” I mumbled, not looking up.
“Oh God, it’s you again.” He answered in disgust.
A small smile played on my lips at the sound of his voice. “Are you stalking me?” I asked as sassy as I could manage.
“You’re the one at my work!” He said pointing a finger at me.
“It’s rude to point.” I responded, batting his hand from my face.
“What’re you doing here anyway?” He asked.
“I was just getting some food hence why I’m in a diner. Why are you here?” I questioned, realizing what a stupid question that was.
“Uhm, I work here.” He answered shortly. He walked past me towards the small blonde whose name tag read Jen. I rolled my eyes and exited the diner; happy I got to see him, even if it was just for a few minutes. Wait I didn’t just say that??

I strode over towards the bar, swapping places with my coworker Jen. “Hey Jen how’s it going?” I asked her casually.
“Good. My shift was pretty dead today.” She responded, her voice sweet.
I stared into her hazel eyes, loosing myself, God she was so beautiful. My thoughts were interrupted as she waved her small hand in front my face. “Hello anybody there?” She asked with a giggle.
