Two Weeks Later

I walked quickly down the sidewalk, rushing to catch the cab flying down the busy New York street. I scurried up to the door, pulling it open. I felt someone brush past me and step into the cab before me.

"Thanks for grabbing me this cab." The voice purred. I recognized it from somewhere but couldn't quite put my finger on it. I looked down; two electric blue-gray eyes peering back at me. I rolled my own eyes, realizing it was Lauren again.

"Are you stalking me?" I questioned.

She rolled her eyes and chuckled. "Oh honey, you wish." She said.

"Trust me, I don't." I mumbled under my breath.

I watched her small figure step out of the cab and whisper something to the driver. She's not that bad. I thought to myself. She's going to give me the cab. She slammed the door behind her and the yellow car sped off without a second glance. I stood there in absolute disbelief, my mouth agape.

"Why did you just do that?" I questioned my voice raising.

"Because you're still a douche." She said with a wink. I watched her saunter down the street.

I followed after her, grabbing her by the shoulder. Her electric eyes practically burned right through me. I stood there, staring at her, unable to speak. She stared back at me, raising her perfectly plucked eyebrow with impatience. The cold air surrounded us, a friendly reminder that December was right around the corner. I looked at her up and down, realizing her hair was an absolute mess and I took it as an opportunity to insult her.

"Nice hair." I sneered. She reached up and patted down the bumps in her hair quickly as a slight blush crept onto her cheeks. She scoffed and rolled her eyes once again. "It looks like you've got some sex hair going on." I added. Her eyes widened a bit.

"It's funny that you would notice that." She said. I raised my eyebrow this time waiting for an explanation. "It's funny that you would notice that because it is." She answered proudly.

"Didn't you just come from a club or something?" I questioned.

"That wouldn't be any of your business but yes I did." She said. I rolled my eyes. Of course she would get laid in a club, how classy.

"Slut." I mumbled. Utter shock spread over her face. Suddenly, I felt a sting on my right cheek and I quickly grasped it in my hands. She had just slapped me. I watched her strut down the street her middle finger waving at me from behind her. Hopefully this would be the last time I ever ran into her.

~Lauren

I stormed down the sidewalk. It had been two weeks since this last happened. I ran into that stupid kid again. It's odd though considering I still don't know his name. He was so hot though. I knew I had to get into his pants and I had to soon. My sexual frustration was almost unbearable at this point. His stubbornness reminded me of myself, which was such a turn on. I walked the rest of the way home, needing time to cool down. I waltzed over to the elevator in the expensive hotel the girls' and I had been staying in while we finished up things for our new album. I pressed the button impatiently, waiting to get up to the sixth floor. I slid the card into the slot and heard the click, signaling the door was unlocked.

"Camz I'm home!" I yelled out. The other girls had their own rooms, but Camila and I decided we should share one. I was quiet for a minute, listening closely for the small footsteps of my best friend. I felt a pair of hand wrap around my eyes, blinding me.

"Guess who?" I heard the voice whispered.

I squealed, turning around quickly, "Hey babz." I felt her warm embrace as she giggled throughout the hug.

"Where have you been?" She questioned.

"I went out to that really nice club in the city and ran into some boy." I said. She looked at me, motioning me to continue. "Well, I ran into him like two weeks ago or something and it was a disaster. He didn't even acknowledge who I was or my importance in the music industry and was just so rude. I was completely shocked and left so angry. Anyway, I ran into him again and it was pretty much the same. It's just hard to be sassy because he's so hot. I know that I have to get with him like as soon as possible to get all my urges out you know? But he's so stubborn, but that's such a turn on, ugh. Do you see the conflict here?" I spoke quickly.

"Lauren, you really need to slow down when you talk!" She said with a giggle. "Anyway, I know where you're coming from, but at the same time I don't. Maybe your 'sassiness' is coming off a little too strong?" She ended with a question.

I shrugged my shoulders, not really in the mood to think about it anymore. I knew I had to go out tomorrow night and find someone new to sleep with.

"Do you know his name?" She asked, breaking the silence.

I looked around, avoiding her eye contact. "No. But I do know where he works." I said.

"I don't know, Lauren. The chances of you running into him again in this big city are so small." She added.

I nodded; agreeing with her was bitter sweet. As much as the mystery guy was a douche, he was so hot. "I guess we'll just have to see." I answered with a small smirk.
