The flight to London ended up not being as dreadful as I had expected, but it was not pleasant. When we arrived, Lauren and I were flooded by photographers as usual and were rushed into the hotel. The girls' had their performance tonight on the Jingle Bell Ball stage and I was expected to attend. I spent most of the day trying to remember the lyrics to their songs, but my mind kept drifting to the conversation Lauren and I had last night. Did she remember it at all? She hadn't mentioned anything the whole day and was kind of avoiding me. We had been at the arena most of the day because fans were roaming the city of London looking for the girls' and I. I watched as fans, girls and boys, of literally all ages began to fill in the empty seats of the large arena. I was stopped here and there for pictures and I happily complied. Even though it happened constantly, I never got used to the fact that fans wanted a picture with me because I was "dating" Lauren. Smoke emitted from the stage as Lauren's husky voice echoed through the speakers, "Have you ever had a dream become a reality? Have you ever had the impossible become possible?" The screams coming from the girls next to me were inhumane as the five band members stepped onto the stage and began their performance. I nodded my head throughout the concert, Lauren pointing and winking at me every once in a while as cameras dramatically flashed in my face. Before the finale, I was escorted back to the hotel before I could be mobbed by fans.

"Lauren!" I called into the small hotel bathroom we were forced to share. "Lauren hurry up! We need to leave soon and I gotta pee!" I yelled again.
"Okay, okay would you shut up already?" She questioned as I heard her unlock the door. She stepped out and I swear my mouth dropped open. "Too much?" She asked stepping out of the bathroom and doing a twirl. I shook my head and raked my eyes up and down her body. Lauren always looked good, but tonight, tonight she looked absolutely indescribably beautiful. A red strapless gown adorned her waist and began to flow out when it reached her hips. Intricate detail was woven down the top and the small jewels glistened like individual diamonds when they reflected off the light. Her feet were covered but it was clear she was wearing her signature black stilettos. Her long black, brown hair was pinned in a half up, half down look and hung in loose curls. Her eye makeup was almost black and her lips a matte red.
"Are those real diamonds?" Was all I managed to say.
She giggled slightly, gazing down at the beads on her dress. "Yeah they are." She said running her fingers gently over them.
"Lauren- you look, you, I mean you are, wow." I said. She laughed at my reaction and made her way closer to me. Even with heels on I still managed to be a good four inches taller than her.
"Are you sure?" She asked, questioning herself again.
"Yeah, I'm sure." I said with a small chuckle. I felt her hands reach up and adjust the bowtie on my neck before stepping back and looking at me. I felt my cheeks turn a slight shade of red as her electric eyes scanned my body.
"You look pretty good yourself." She said with a wink as she walked past me. "Now hurry up and pee; we have a ball to attend!" She added.

I stepped out of the limo first, reaching my hand back inside to help Lauren out. As we walked down the carpet hand in hand, the lights flashed nonstop. I kept my focus mainly on not tripping over my own two feet as we reached the entrance to the party hall. As we entered, I shook my head in disbelief. All around, people were dressed in gowns and men in tuxedos waltzing, talking, and eating amongst one another. Floor to ceiling was covered in gold detail, the room giving off a warm aroma. Chandeliers hung low on the ceiling and balconies were higher up, overlooking the ballroom floor. Tables were placed on the sides of the room, but the middle was cleared so people could dance. It was going to be a long night do to the fact that I couldn't dance. A waitress walked past with glasses of champagne and I causally grabbed two for Lauren and I. I handed her the glass which probably cost more than my house as she took small sips before placing it randomly on a table beside her.
