Then she hit the floor. I honestly didn't know

I had it in me, but  what I did know was that there was gonna be more trouble today than I wanted. After the huge thud, Alexis immediately stood back, I watched helplessly as Sharon's solid body hit the tiled floor. Her eyes were glued shut, but then they popped open. Anger in her eyes, she squirmed on the floor. She got up; her face was really red. I don't think anything could make her even more-

Wait a second,

Oh God.

The baby.

Sharon O.o

I remembered: Sharon is expecting! With Logan's baby! Though the thought made me hurl and sicken, I dropped my shoulders. I gestured her to stop and calm as soon as she got up and started towards me again.

"Sharon, wait, wait, please- your baby- you can't do this-"

She clenched her fists and she stiffened them to her sides. I was the complete opposite- - loose and flimsy, "Sharon, stop it!"

She was to angry to even respond. Her only thoughts were to hurt me. Maybe kill me,. . .

I took a few steps back and held my hands to my face. "Sharon, STOP IT! YOUR EXPECTING!"

She raged even faster toward me. I clenched my lids together and sucked my lips in. "Sharon-"

Swoosh -

A hard thrust rammed into my jaw. I fell back into a table and covered my face. I roar with pain, and try to stay strong. Without a warning, Sharon jumps on me and soon enough, starts to pound on my delicate face. Great. Just what I tried to avoid. I try my best to glue my fingers on my face; yet her fist found a way to seam through them and target the right places.

Gasps and yells of old women flowed through the room. One word I understood was 911. My face stung, my chest stung. I cry, I feel sick. And it continued to do so as she rammed her ringed fists on my body. I started to scared, what if I loose consciousness? What if she breaks something? My jaw? My arm?

I have to do something. I cannot sit here and take it. I started it, there for I shall finish it.

With a surprise, I push myself forward and roll Sharon on her back, then lift my fist to her face. I clench my fist and hold it even higher over my head. Then swung.

One big swing.

Bigger than the last.

All I needed was one.

Yet, more fell from my arm. Hard ones. To her face. Thank God not her body...

I start to grunt as I swung in her face. I feel power. Adrenaline running down my spine . . . a sense of being alpha, like no one can stop me. The adrenaline finally calmed, and I finally came back to earth. Oh my god. .  .

I happen to glance at my knuckles, and there, covered in dripping blood. My gaze ran to Sharon. Blood trickled down her nose and cheek, as her puffed eye tried to focus. She was weak, and barely could stand. Oh my God.

What am I doing?

What am I turning into?

"Sharon-" I said. Silence. Everyone's looking at me; everybody's starring at me. I lift my hands and see blood, both mine and hers.

Ding! Ding!

"Brianna,"   A high alto voice came from a few feet away, entering into the store.

Logan.

God.

I lift my head, along with my body. He comes in and sees Sharon on the floor first, and freezes. He drops his things and observes me now. I look up at him, my hands held up to my side. My mouth stood open. Speechless. I look over at my best friend for some support, but there, she stood horrified, her hands cupping her mouth in fear as she looked at Sharon and I. I look Logan back in the eyes. "Logan- I can-"
