{the end - the beatles}
From that day, that sunny afternoon where David met his mother, they had all moved on. The relationship between them had grown, and they'd all become closer with one another. Jennifer, David, Lisa, and Courteney all drove back home to Los Angeles where they began filming season two, and then on to season three, until ten seasons had been made. Jennifer and David admitted they were together a few months into filming season two, and were met with cheers and joy, and a great approval from the media as well. They were Hollywood's most beloved couple, despite how private they were with their lives.
Matthew and Matty went on to marry two lovely women whom they adored, Lisa went on to have a beautiful boy named Julian, and Courteney married the man of her dreams. Jennifer and David got married between seasons five and six, and a year later Jennifer gave birth to a sweet little girl named Andrea, who was treasured by their friends and family. Four years later, their second child, a little boy named Andrew, was born into the world. They were happy together, and always were; they rarely fought, never split up, and loved each other dearly. They were so in love, and the love they shared never dwindled or came to an end, it always was perfect between them, fairytale-like.
David succeeded over his depression, and although it came back a few times, he had conquered a mountain so high he never imagined he would ever be able to do it, but then again that was before he even met Jennifer. The two raised their children happily like a family, staying away from the media and allowing their children to grow up normally. Andrea became a forensic scientist, and Andrew went on to be a successful actor too. Their parents were so proud of the two children's achievements.Many many years later, when David and Jennifer were in their early seventies, they looked back upon their romance as young adults. The love was a strong as ever, even though almost thirty years had passed, Jennifer still laid her head atop David's chest and listened to him tell her stories. His stories never got old, and there always new ones to be told.
His hand stroked her back gently, both reminiscing about their innocent love.
"We were so great together, weren't we darling?" He asked, as Jennifer sat up slightly alarmed.
She was confused at the way he worded his sentence.
"Were?" She asked, furrowing her eyebrows together.
He chuckled a deep laugh, his voice slightly husky. His hair had turned grey, but it was a nice soft grey, contrasting his black hair he had before.
"I mean the media loved us. The people of the world admired our love, our privacy, and how we raised two beautiful children to be successful and happy. I think they could relate to us in the sense that we seemed normal compared to others. And when I say were, I mean we were famous, much more so than today. But really, I mean we are great together. And always will be." He announced to their bedroom.
They both smiled and held each other close in their arms, basking in warm sunlight that streamed through the windows. It was a sweet and sunny afternoon, a normal and everyday one at that.
"Hey David, remember those massive cell phones we had back in the 90's?! You know, the huge brick like phones?" Jennifer chuckled, thinking back to a simpler time. He grinned, his eyes shut reminiscing.
"Yeah, I do. They were fantastic."A/N: And there's the end. I didn't quite know how to end the story, but I knew I couldn't just leave it where it was. I stopped writing because of my severe depression, schoolwork, and lack of work ethic to write. I think it's a nice ending, and maybe when everything goes away and I'm ready to write more I'll make a sequel. Until then, this story is over. Someone gave me the idea to make a chapter dedicated to some of the most important and sweet quotes in the story, I've been doing that and it's turned out quite nicely. If you like to see it, just ask and I'll post it as soon as I've finished it. Hopefully you sort of get the last line of the story, but it can be interpreted in many ways, not just the one I was thinking of.
And remember, I love you guys. ❤️
