COURTNEY'S POV

Driving to the set in the morning was weird. Thinking about how much David cares for my best friend is weird. And how oblivious Jen is, is weird. This whole situation is weird.

JEN'S POV

The whole cast is gathered around in the Central Perk set, everyone talking to an individual person. I've been telling David about my high school experiences. He's a great listener and focuses on whatever I'm telling him. I'd like to know more about him though. He isn't a very open person, he's pretty private. But I can probably pry him open.

"Can you tell me the story of your first kiss?" I ask, running my hand down his shoulder.

"Umm, Okay then." he mutters.

FLASHBACK TO 1979 (DAVID AS A 16 YEAR-OLD POV)

"Hi sweetie! My friend Barbara is having her kids come over! They are so pleasant and sweet! You will definitely like them a lot!" My mom announces, her smile so wide. She waved her arms around, frantically dusting and tidying our small apartment in New York. Finally, the doorbell rings, and my mom swings open the door, almost throwing the hinges off with excitement. She grabs me and shoves me into two teens.

"I'm Andrew, and I am 17. My little sister, Amelia is 16."

I try and smile, but I'm just too nervous. I stutter out my name, and then quickly run away into my room.

"Oh he's a little shy! Why don't you come in for some coffee?" My mom offers.

The woman politely declines, and her kids stumble around the house, looking for something to do. I stay in my room, reading an Iron-Man comic book. The two kids go to my school, but they've never met me before. Not many kids even know my name. I'm invisible to almost everybody, except for older bullies who beat me up.

"Andrew and Amelia, why don't you play a board game while I go and find David. How about Risk?" She asks, handing them the long, thin box.

My mom rushes into my room, trying to get me to play with them. Why should I play with some kids who will probably make fun of me tomorrow, when I can enjoy my only free time not doing homework?

1 HOUR LATER

"YES! AND THE WORLD IS MINE!" Andrew yells, pumping his fist in the air.

"So what's my punishment?" Amelia asks him in defeat. She knew he'd win, but she still plays.
He takes a minute, trying to find the worst possible punishment. Suddenly, his eyes sparkle with devilishness. He evilly grins.

"You have to kiss David!" He yells, falling onto the ground laughing.
Amelia complains for a few minutes. She continuously whines pleading for a different punishment. Andrew follows Amelia into my room, and pushes her towards me.

"Amelia has to kiss you for 5 seconds as her punishment for losing the game!" Andrew snarls.

Amelia grabs my shoulder and harshly kisses me for 3 seconds, rather than 5. I don't know if I'm happy or insulted she didn't finish. Then, she shoves me back down onto my bed. I never saw either of them again.

BACK TO '94. DAVID'S POV

Jen gasps.

"What?! That's so rude! Your first kiss should be with someone you like, and not forced! So ridiculous!" She goes on.

I try and stop her, because I really don't care. I was used to being disliked by my peers. I tried to explain to Jen it didn't matter to me.

"Jen, calm down! My entire romantic life is just stories like this, okay? I'm used to it." I try.
