I am very sorry you guys. I promise I'll make up for it in the next chapter. This chapter is like a filler but the next chapter, I promise will have something very interesting. Lets see if you guys saw that coming!
Sorry.
Chapter Six - Being a suspect in a murder case.
"Look, I got to get home -" I was cut short.
"Gwen, stop! I know you have been trying to avoid me and I also know why. Look, I'm sorry you had to see what you saw and are a little uncomfortable about it but-"
"Uncomfortable? Her dress was all the way up from down and all the way down from up! Uncomfortable is an understatement of how I am feeling"
"Sorry Gwen"
"I am not avoiding you for the way I found out, well, yes it is, partly but you should have told me about you and Kylie"
"I know. I am sorry, this will not happen again. I promise"
"Okay"
I did manage to say "Okay" but inside a voice was screaming "I like you, cant u freaking see? She is not your type!! "
"Can I atleast get a hug?"
"uh, ya"
His arms being wrapped around me, my head on his shoulder that is where I belonged.
"See you tomorrow?"
"Ya, sure"
"I'll pick you up, okay?"
"Cool"
I got into the car and drove off.
As soon as I reached, I washed up and changed into a fresh pair of clothes.
I was going to meet Rayna at Josh's Diner tonight. Yes I know it was a school night but I am an early riser.
"Gwen!!"
"Rayna!! And who is this?" I said gesturing to a guy who looked like he was enjoying the music and was sitting across me.
"Gwen, this is my best friend Avery. Avery, this is Gwen"
"Hey" I said with a smile.
"So, you are Gwen?"
Uh-oh!! He must know what I teased her about. Damn! I didn't think he'd know.
"I'll be right back, I got to take this call" Rayna said gesturing towards her phone"
"Avery, I am so sorry. I was an honest misunderstanding"
"What are you apologizing for" he said with a confused expression.
That just got awkward.
"Umm, forget I said that"
"Uh, okay? I guess."
"You should know by now but yeah, I'm crazy"
He chuckled.
"I figured but let me tell you, we are no less"
"So, you play any sport?"
"I am a football player but I do play a decent game of basketball too"
"Aah"
"Aah, what?"
"You looked like the football type"
"What about you?"
"I'm a swimmer"
"Swimming season is coming up, prepared?"
